Since 2010 I have been travelling to the north of Sweden. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is simple and suits the mountain atmosphere. Kvikkjokk has a good kitchen too!

Very disappointing. This place is filthy and doesn't come anywhere near the standard of other Fjallstations further north. I didn't have high expectations after a 12 day hike but the filth was just unbelievable. We stayed in a 2 bed room that had never been renovated. You are supposed to clean it when you go, but how can you be... More

We stayed for two night after five days on the Padjalanta leden and before setting out on the Kungsleden northwards. It was great to have a nice shower and a soft bed. I have read the comparisons with Saltoluokta Fjallstation, but I do not agree that Kvikkjokk is more expensive, it might have less atmosphere, but it is significantly less... More

We visited this Fjallstation following our ten day hike on the Kungsleden and were a little surprised at the level of the facilities and cost. We had stayed at another mountain hut (Saltaloukta) five days previously which had fantastic facilities at a reasonable price (100sek to camp per person with membership) - this station, however charged 150sek per person (with... A place with a long history , patina and character. Run by Helen who is the perfect host and cook and that is exactly what the hungry and tired hiker needs. Stay in the older part in the rooms with only two beds, you won't be disappointed . Sharing the bathroom and toilet is no problem , it's kept clean... More

Kvikkjokk was the final destination of this year's hiking tour on the Kungsleden. Like the other fjallstation we went to (Abisko and Saltoluokta), you can always give general comments: 1) compared to continental standard they are expensive, especially if you look for a double room 2) they mostly have an old and new part: the old one is cozy, perhaps...
