Stopped at a really poor site a few yrs back nr Calais and a quite applying one on the outskirts of Folkestone - this one was very nice, big pitches, good toilet blocks, friendly staff, reasonable prices at the take way. Only problem was the price - 40 odd Euros for 2 adults, 3 children, tent, no lecky. Arrive at... More

We have just returned from an overnight stay on route home from the South staying in a mobile home. We have previously stayed on 2 separate occasions for a whole week. Our 3 children (11,11,90 thoroughly enjoy this site and we are planning to stay for a whole week next year before the long drive to the South; with our... More

I am surprised at the number of very positive comments on this site. We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 5 week trip round France in our motorhome. The two very good features are the position of this site in relation to the eurotunnel, only 20 minutes away and the good restaurant on site, where we... More

Just had three nights here and it was our first time at this site. We missed our ferry on Friday night due to traffic so we got a later one which meant we didn't arrive on the site until just before 10pm in the pitch dark. However there were still reception staff there and they checked us in and took... More

Booked via Caravan Club with no fuss. We were expected when we arrived and were taken straight to our touring pitch. Plenty of space, hook up and water right by van. This is a large, well organised and well equipped site. We were there Sunday night and the pool, playground, table tennis and mini golf were all in full use.... More

Just had a couple of nights at La Bein-Assise on our way back to the UK. Immaculate, spotless, friendly and the on-site restaurant was superb. Very dog friendly and a decent dog walk. Its a really good place to stop over. Like a lot of people you tend to use it as a stopping off place but its worth exploring... More

On arrival at the camp site we found the check in quick and easy and was met by Gary one of the Euro Camp team, our mobile home type accommodation had every thing that we would need for our stay and was told to not hesitate to get in touch if we needed anything else.. The camp site was clean... More

Returned to England today after spending one week here what a beautiful campsite great amenities, fantastic power showers in the toilet block by the pool, we stayed in a mobile home for four , my only negatives were shower just dribbles think this is due to the amount of people using the water on site, floor ends up soaked so... Although this is a campsite which many people use for single night stop overs enrolee to and from the ferry due to it's convenience to Calais, we spent a week here as our main holiday. It was superb. The pitches were spacious and attractive, the toilets clean, the pool exciting for the kids (and adults!), the shop, takeaway, cafe and... More

15 minutes from the Eurotunnel, with a nice restaurant and good facilities, this large ACSI badged campsite is part of the high standard Le Castels chain. We have used it several times, as have friends, especially when we need the dogs to be inspected prior to return to UK etc, although vets are cheaper the further away from the coast... More

Thank you for your review, We recommend a vet in the village next to us, and can call and make an appointment for campers staying with us wishing to cross the Channel with their dog. Be very careful using vets further away from the coast, we have met many campers who have seen vets that aren't used to treating dogs... More
