We visited this site recently for the second time and must admit the first time we were here was much better. I agree with others about the strange opening times for the shop and bar, the lack of things to do on site isn't that much of a problem as there is loads of things in the surrounding areas .... Lovely site - small and compact and very easy to reach from Calais. There isn't a great deal to do on site and the opening times for the bar and shop are quite restricted - the bar opens at 3pm so a quick coffee or drink earlier aren't an option. The shop just has the essentials, although there are several... More

We stayed here on our last night of a 17 night holiday in France and Luxembourg. We had previously stayed here in 2008 and had not been particularly impressed. However this time we liked it a lot. The campsite is quiet, easy to get around and the bar-snack restaurant is relaxing and very friendly. If you want something more substantial... More

Absolutely love this campsite. 18 mins from ferry. This is our second time here. And will coming back until otherwise. Nice big pitches. Swimming pool is great for all ages. Bar a bit pricey. Showers up to standard. Restaurant was very nice. I would not order balleys after dinner me and my partner orderd two large ones each what came... More

Like many people I suspect, we stayed here for the last night of our holiday prior to travelling back to the UK. It could have just been a sleeping ground prior to the journey back, but was actually much nicer than we expected and felt like part of the holiday, alongside the other sites we had stayed in, rather than... You always get excellent service and commitment from this site everytime you visit. Added to this, 1st class restaurant and always a happy last night in France. We will revisit again and would recommend this to anyone. We had a dog and the site accommodated him 100%

Fantastic site close to ferry. Very big pitches and reception staff very helpful. There is an English speaking vet close by as well as several large super markets. Even though the site is quite big thete was still enough showers for all. Will def return.

Absolutely beautiful location in the little French village of Guines. Not a place to go if you want hustle and bustle and nightlife but perfect for a quiet peaceful holiday in a traditional French village. This is a great family campsite. It has three play parks. One with wooden style play equipment for older kids, one for young children and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, longer than intended due to industrial action at Calais. On arrival we were allocated a pitch, no choices offered. The pitch was of a good size, although there were many smaller pitches nearby, and had water, drainage and 6amp electricity, which we found insufficient, having to turn off the water heater to use the... We allocate the pitches according to length of stay and preference to campers that have booked. If you don’t like the pitch that we show you to, you can let us know and we will do our best to find you another one, however at this time of year we are very busy and have a lot of bookings so... More

This is definitely a family orientated site with huge pitches and all the amenities you could wish for. It doesn't matter whether you want to camp in a tent, or a caravan, or a camper van (there is even a converted lorry on a pitch near us) or you could always stay in one of the very comfortable chalets if...
