We have stayed here a number of times and always found it to be very clean. It is situated next to the restaurant and the la bein assis campsite so very handy if vising friends or family there. You can get breakfast at the hotel. It is approx. 3miles from Eurotunnel and 9 miles from Calais port. The rooms are... More

Though prefer simpler, (and cheaper!) camping, couldn't fault the site. Greeted by charming woman, and pitches spacious with shrubbery, trees, and birds singing. Can't say same for site's 'Le restaurant la ferme gourmande'. Service was terrible. Couldn't take orders quick enough. Staff stressed, and cleat wanted to get us thro quickly so could go home. First course arrived before had... More

Stopped one night on our way to the channel tunnel. Site was full of Brits going home. Large grassed pitch. Loads of good quality showers and unisex toilets, all very clean, and plenty hot water. Plenty of facilities in chateau grounds, no time to explore. Would use again, as easy to get to the channel tunnel. Gates open for leaving... More

the grounds here are lovely the staff are efficient more than friendly but I suppose they get a big turnover of clients The toilets and facilities could do with a makeover for the price they charge. Every thing pricey 5 euros when it had been 3.35 in the place before for washing token. It is handy for the tunnel and... More

We have just returned from a weekend break at La Bien Assise. Our first visit here was for a one night stopover last December. The food in the restaurant was so good we came for a second visit. We were with our caravan and stayed for three nights. Key Features: Only 20 minutes from the tunnel or 30 from the... More

June 2014; We stayed here at the start of our adventure across Europe. The site is clean, in beautiful grounds, with a nice staff team. Its well located and easy to access. The facilities are clean and the pitches well laid out. We had our dog with us and she was welcome too with lots of areas and fields to... More

I e-mailed the site after reading a previous travellers blog who had stayed and had help organising the vet for their dog before returning home to the UK. I couldn't have been more pleased with the assistance provided when sending my enquiry or indeed on arrival to the site. The stress of the couple of days before returning to the... More

Great campsite with a mixture of tents, caravans, motor homes and chalets. Very quiet. Has a swimming pool, heated, lovely and warm with children's paddling pool and flume. There are tennis courts and table tennis tables but bring your own kit as it's not possible to hire. A bar, shop and restaurant on site.

Very helpful staff, nicely laid out with spacious pitches, shower and toilet blocks good with plenty of hot water, WiFi access available on pitches. Only used this site as a one night stop over for arriving and departing on ferry. Drinks at the snack bar are very expensive.
