We booked his last min on booking.com. Didn't really look into the hotel itself much - just wanted a cheap overnight stay with parking not far from Calais. We got the euro tunnel over then drove to the south of France the following morning so we just wanted somewhere to get our head down. We couldn't believe our eyes when... More

Staff was extremely nice and friendly. I booked this room last minute on my way from Switzerland to the ferry in Calais. I hadn't wanted to book the room too far in advance as I wanted to wait until I knew how far I would be able to drive that day. Despite the fact that I booked the room an... More

We are regular visitors, in June 2015 we stayed en route from Zeebrugge to Normandy, and also on our way back. We have also stayed 3 or 4 days midweek, and have no hesitation in recommending it for short breaks. Without doubt we will be back. We book through Logis and have never had a problem.

Just a quick note to say that I booked a room for 1 night on booking.com and after a few hours received an email from the hotel saying that there had been an error and they were actually full, so I should cancel my reservation. I did do that, but also informed booking.com of what had happened. After less than... More

We were made very welcome when we stayed here on the final night of our cycle trip in France. We had often camped here but this time we were in the Auberge. It was a great place to stay, with a big room and lovely facilities. We ate a substantial meal in the restaurant attached to the site and enjoyed... More

Just what was needed after battling with Bank Holiday traffic in UK. The hotel is within a rural complex of buildings which includes the restaurant and well separated from the campsite (whose facilities you can use) The breakfast room must have been the old stables and the small hotel has been well converted. There is plenty of space for children... More

I visited this hotel on the way back from Burgundy and had dinner and breakfast. To start with dinner: the room is light and airy, and the tables are set a discreet distance apart. The food is, in my view, characteristically Northern French, certainly copious. I started with a delightful terrine, and went on to souris d' agneau. Just in... More

Stayed with my family for one night, found the hotel on bookings.com.. Was very pleased with the accommodation, comfortable beds and overall very clean.. The configuration of the room was a bit strange and would suggest a hand basin In toilet.. Give it a try, very reasonably priced and lovely surroundings..

My wife and I have recently returned from visiting the L'auberge du Colombier and each time it seems to improve from the last visit. We resided in room 24 a twin room which was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is where this establishment really shines, superb menus and very decently priced for all tastes. The house wine is highly recommended,so are the scallops... We've been a number of times since my initial review, and now report that the new handrails on the stairs are a great improvement from a safety point of view. It's a great little hotel, spotlessly clean and tidy. The restaurant next door is really first class and goes from strength to strength. We have used it out of season... More
