Stayed with my family for one night, found the hotel on bookings.com.. Was very pleased with the accommodation, comfortable beds and overall very clean.. The configuration of the room was a bit strange and would suggest a hand basin In toilet.. Give it a try, very reasonably priced and lovely surroundings..

My wife and I have recently returned from visiting the L'auberge du Colombier and each time it seems to improve from the last visit. We resided in room 24 a twin room which was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is where this establishment really shines, superb menus and very decently priced for all tastes. The house wine is highly recommended,so are the scallops... We've been a number of times since my initial review, and now report that the new handrails on the stairs are a great improvement from a safety point of view. It's a great little hotel, spotlessly clean and tidy. The restaurant next door is really first class and goes from strength to strength. We have used it out of season... More

We booked in here as a stopover on our way back to the UK. Family of 2 adults and 2 boys aged 10 & 11. Room (12) was very large, 2 rooms with an en suite bathroom. Room was clean and bright. Bathroom was very dated with peach bath & sink and no proper shower. Ample toiletries and towels. Bed... More

A delightful and peaceful place to stay; set in lovely grounds and with a restaurant that served a really good dinner. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. It's a perfect place to stop either after just getting into, or going out of, Calais. We'd definitely return there.

The rooms here are fresh and new and most comfortable; good Wi-Fi too. Another good place near Calais for a stopover. On a lovely evening it was good to sit outside for dinner which was plentiful and good quality. For my taste, it was served a bit too fast but that's a minor thing.

After a 400 mile drive through France, this was an ideal stop over before returning to the U.K. Beautiful setting, and clean rooms that have recently been refurbished. Location is ideal, circa 30 mins from the Eurotunnel, and near all the shopping you would want. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very plentiful, with quick and polite service,... More

This was our second stay and we will return. The Auberge is located in peaceful grounds at the edge of Guines. The accommodation was very good - we could not wish for better, as was the French breakfast with plenty to eat. Good menu in the restaurant and the food was very good too. What more do you want!

It is attention to detail that makes all the difference in both hotels and restaurants. This hotel is an old farmhouse beside a large campsite. No one on reception on arrival so you have to ring for service. Same in the morning. Picked up a tourism leaflet in reception while waiting and it was 3 years old! Room spacious but... More
