The location of the guesthouse is very good. Near market, restaurants and traffics. I go to the guesthouse at my first time to Coron. I choose it when I saw two hotels. Because the location is good. You can go to many place on foot. And many motorcycle can take you to far place. The breakfast is good, I ate... More

I chose this hotel accommodations since it was in the middle of everything. True enough, it was really in the middle of everything like the market, the Church was nearby, several restaurants. However, our window was just in front of the market street so we could hear all the tricycles and people hustling outside. We paid for 3 tours such... More

This place may not be the seaside resort that one would envision when planning a trip to some exotic tropical island, but if you want a place in the center of town that is clean and tidy and where you can rest from the tours, surf the web with the available wi-fi and shop for food or souvenirs right at... Solo traveller accomodation option-No hot showers for standard rooms, really small room and tiny bathroom, u shower and the toilet tissue and bin gets wet! Much prettier and cleaner in photos, but just a 2 star accommodation in reality, dusty TV older, for P1200 cost, breakfast and airport transfer is NOT included!! Not a very comfortable stay for me, There... More

Palanca Guest House is near the market and a number of recommended restaurants. The rooms are fairly-priced at P 1,200 a night; P 1,000 for those not using the aircon. For couples, though, the bed is quite small for two. The place was recommended by our airport shuttle driver, who helped us haggle the price of our stay. If you... More

One thing you need to know about going to Coron, Palawan is that you don't really need to spend a lot on a place to stay because you will be out island hopping most of the time anyway. I really suggest that you get a place which is at the center of Coron town and near the public market and... More

After a terrible experience at an other guest house I ended up here. The young lady that was hosting was really nice and helpfull. The place is clean, nice and they were building a roofterrace last year (2012) must be a big plus. I think a lot of places in the phillipines are a bit overpriced compare to thailand etc... More

Palanca guest house is well located in the small and dusty Coron. It offers a fair price per night. Breakfast is available for 100 peso per dish and involves one egg (scrambled or fried), plain or fried rice, and some protein (beef tapa, fish, etc.). The room was pretty average. On the positive side it had air-con. The bed was... More

We stayed 4days 3nights in Palanca Guest House and I shall say it was rather comfortable and we felt at home. Ms. Dianne Palanca is so accomodating, every request, granted. Every questions, answered, she did not hide any details like the power interruptions every evening in Coron town so we are prepared. She arranged our itinerary which was very wonderful,... More
