It's an amazing and serene place to rest and to enjoy the unexploited nature... the exciting undersea world, the clear sea water, the very rich greens around, the mountains so fulfilling to climb, the sea breeze, the fresh and clean air, the quiet and peaceful place, the sumptuous meals prepared by very entertaining and kind staff... In Majika you will... More

I've been back to this resort a total of 3 times now, most recently in the months of February and May 2014. I come back because I am treated like a family member, most especially by the resort owner, Ate Majika. The staff are all friendly and polite. You will always hear them say "Good morning sir" "Hello sir". Marlon,... More

My family and cousins stayed here last May 2014 for 4 night 5 days. Make sure you get all the information / itinerary schedule (detailed) before you go since we had some misunderstanding regarding what's included in the package. We thought it's for the 5 days but turns out the tour etc is only 2 days. The other tours you... More

Good value, nice place to stay off the main island. Staff are great when the boss is around, but service definitely slips when Majika is not there - it was interesting to see the change upon her arrival. Good for a couple of days downtime. Boat crew and dive shop staff were consistently good.

Majika is on a private small island apart from everything where you can completely isolate yourself and unwind. Don't worry about not having much to do. All daily tours and activities are amazing! So you will enjoy every single day that you stay there to the fullest. There is nothing else in this island besides the resort so make sure... More

I was a little bit concerned, when it appeared that we shall pay for the whole stay (3D, 4N) before coming, but then we didn't regret. Majika's staff was waiting for us at the airport and from this moment everything was just great. The food they prepare is really nice and the portions are huge. You eat fresh seafood everyday... The Majika Island Beach Resort is a wonderful secluded place to relax and recharge your batteries. It is set on Apo Island some distance from Coron Town. A great experience that still makes me smile when I think about it. It is a small resort giving a very personal and intimate feel. The staff were excellent. There are a couple... More

Majika's Island Resort on Apo Island (close to the bigger Busuanga Island) is an amazing place for a relaxed adventurous holiday in the Philippines. The resort offers many trips related to the waters surrounding the resort's island. We did several snorkling, diving (shipwreck and coral) and island hopping trips which were all very well organized. The resort's staff is warm... More

If you want relaxation and solitude where you can enjoy nature, have a heart to heart talk with your loved ones, experience great food and service. This is a place for you. There is less amenities than you will get from a hotel like aircon, restaurant, swimming pool and internet. But I think that is what makes this place special.... More

(This review is from a trip in April 2010.) OK - where do I start....... We found this place after much searching and debating on where to stay following a trip to El Nido. We were a bit concerned at first with sending money abroad and not booking on line however you need not worry. This place is genuine! We... More
