Have just spent three weeks at the Market Motel, and am hard-pressed to find fault with this great little place. Sure, the rooms are basic - what do you expect for the equivalent of £50 a week? - but are clean, spacious, and come equipped with air-con, fan, fridge and hot shower. The restaurant menu is varied, the food delicious,... More

I've stayed here 4 or 5 times in the past couple of years and am always blown away by the courtesy and general eagerness to please of the staff (who are amazingly hard-working), the variety of the menu, the cleanliness of the facilities and the overall value for money on offer. Shirley and team do a brilliant job and I... More

If you find yourself at the Thai/Cambodian border and need a place to crash for a night, this hotel is a good option. After a bus ride to Poipet, crossing the border and the heat of the day, my friend and I didn't feel like heading to the bus station and continuing our journey. I've stayed here twice, once in... Definitely a good value place...for the cheap room rate (330 baht for fan room, 440 baht for aircon room) you get a big room, complete with fridge, flatscreen, hot shower, wifi...there's even a swimming pool, a real bonus in this price range! A simple breakfast is included too, a bowl of chicken rice soup and coffee... Only point of criticism... More

Thank you for your review, your compliments are much appreciated, guests that expect 4 or 5 star accomodation for 300 or400 Bacht cause me a lot of sleepness nights, and they seem to be better at writing reviews than most of our satisfied guests. We try our best. As to your experience in the Restaurant, I offer my apologies. Since... More

If like us, you are staying overnight in Aranyaprathet for the chaotic border crossing into Cambodia, then this place is an OK option. Positives: - Walkable from the train station, even with baggage. - Had complimentary soap and shampoo. - Was cheap. Negatives: - Hard mattress. I know some people like hard mistresses, but after a 6-7 hour train journey... More

It's a good feeling to be popular, with 60 rooms, many nights we are filled up or close to it, unfortunately there seems to be a problem with a very small percentage of guests who are not happy, and complain on this sort of media. I only wish more of our happy guests would write a review. I stress one... More

We arrived after travelling 6.5 hours by train from Bangkok tired, hot and dusty. Staff really helpful fast check in. No safety box in room. Did have a fridge. Bed really really hard and only one pillow each. We did not sleep well. No tea or coffee in room although large water bottle provided. No complimentary tea or coffee available.... More

You must remember we are a budget hotel, with daily rates from B280 for 2 guests. I think it's unfair to expect coffee and tea service in the room. We do provide self serve complimentary coffee and tea, and Chicken rice soup for guests in the restataurant for breakfast. You said no hot water, this is not correct, there is... More

We have been there twice and I really cant recomend it to stay ... average price for this room and service ... in Thailand 350 TB... More

Well what can I say, when I first read this review I couldn't believe what I was reading. This has been a year of renewal for us. New 32" L.C.D. Televisions in every room, new curtains, re painting, new air conditioning units and fridges as required. We have a policy when guests arrive who haven't stayed with us before, are... More

Just a few minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of the massive market, this hotel offers a welcoming respite. The layout is similar to that of a resort and the rooms are more like chalets. Booking in is easy and all the staff are very helpful. There are a wide range of features to entertain all ages including a... More
