Great location riverside on the Mekong. Rooftop great spot for sunset. Room good value at $15 for a/c, twin, ensuite. Sheets stained. Reception pushy selling tours. Can do cheaper else where or organize yourself. Large open air restaurant. Tasty Khmer breakfast. Limited western options. Restaurant popular with locals in morning and tour groups at night.

We spent one night here when we had to stop in Kratie on the way to Phnom Penh. We had not booked anything in advance, but a representative of this hotel was waiting at our minibus stop. He showed us the rooms, which were perfectly fine -- $15 for a room with air-conditioning. The building was a large older building... More

A few good points but poor overall. The hotel is very conveniently situated by the Mekong, close to restaurants and only a short walk from the centre. Our huge, high ceilinged, clean room wasn’t attractive it was Spartan with a window that looked out to a facing wall. The staff weren’t particularly friendly. Breakfast was like the slowest production line... More

We stayed here based on the reviews we read up on. The place was fine and generally clean and the room very spacious. Toilet clean etc. we were more than happy with the hotel room. However, the man on reception was a bit creepy! We arrived quite late and wanted to get food. He asked us what we were doing... More

Not sure what to say about Kratie. Did not like it very much as a town. Very much a one night stop over to visit the river dophins and then move on - in our opinion. The hotel fine for the price but dingy, outdated although clean rooms. Excellent location however overlooking the Mekong. Very basic western breakfast option although great... More

Stayed only two nights here on transit through Kratie. Couldn't really ask for more from this hotel, as the rooms where decent for the price, and the staff friendly enough. The restaurant food is a bit on the pricey side, but plenty of other places close by. The wifi is not the greatest. If your looking for a cheap clean... More

I had quite a bad stay at the hotel, all due to the tuk-tuk driver of the hotel. He was very dishonest and extremly pushy. He picked me up from the bus station and told me that the room had hot water – the shower was cold, he said if i booked the dolphin tour with him, he could tell... More

We take the cheapest fan room, and it was enough in august. The hotel is big but the wifi is working everywhere. Room and bathroom were clean, but had some ants (because of food). The hot shower was broken, check it before if you want it. The staff was so-so, but some are good english speakers. We didn't use them... More

The only nice thing was the roof top terras with view over de river. No help getting your bags up to the fourth floor. I was there in the raining season. The roof was leaking, the room was very moist, there were bugs and no hot water. The man from the hotel was overcharging for the tours. You can do... More

A beautiful hotel with nice terrace overlooking the Mekong. The staff in the dining room were not very friendly and the menu wasn't to my taste. The wifi wasn't good. The room was beautiful, clean and the bathroom was huge (I've stayed in rooms that were smaller than the bathroom!) there was a tuk tuk driver who waits outside called... More
