We stayed at Teuchters both before going to Orkney and on our return. Linda and Andrew were very welcoming and were the perfect hosts. Both rooms that we stared in were modern, clean and very comfortable. Hot showers were very welcoming after rainy cold days on Orkney - so perfect. The location was great with views over the bay and... More

Andrew welcomed us with great advice on where to eat and where to enjoy the striking cliffs and exceptional scenery. Our rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed visiting with Andrew and his dogs!

Nearest accommodation to the Pentland (Orkney Islands) Ferry terminal in Gills Bay. Beautiful open location, comfortable building, large rooms, panoramic views, very friendly proprietors. What's not to like? We picked this randomly from the roadside and were delighted with our choice. The price of GBP 60 with breakfast for a double in May was very reasonable. They probably could charge... More

Arrived after a blustery and wet days riding. Really lovely people in a recently build home. Rooms feel more like hotel rooms and are simply excellent. Very highly recommended. Good parking for the motorbikes in the garage. The 3 of us shared 1 large room to keep the costs down. Bathrooms and room were in tip top condition.

Stayed the night last night after a 200 mile drive from Isle of Skye and was welcomed but Andrew. Stayed in the twin room, was beautifully decorated with an amazingly massive shower! Couldn't have asked for a better room or service. The breakfast was the cherry on top. Great B&B for location, price, service and room.

Went there with my family. We had a ferry to Orkney Islands and the B&B is just a few hundred meters from the pier. Ideal for early departure. We decided to stay there for 2 night: the day before the departure to Orkney Island and (1 night later) the day we came back from a 2 days trip to Orkney.... More

This is a lovely place to stay! If you are planning on visiting John O' Groats this is a great alternative just a short drive away. Andrew and Linda have a lovely home that is very clean and spacious. Each room has its own bathroom and nicely furnished, Our favorite part was the huge delicious breakfast that Andrew freshly prepared... More

An excellent B&B, with roomy well-furnished bedrooms and spotlessly clean en suite facilities. Terrific views to the Pentland Firth, and the B&B overlooks the Orkney ferry harbour at Gills Bay. Andrew's breakfast was delicious, including his own home-grown tomatoes. Highly recommended, and well-priced for solo travellers requiring single occupancy.

Excellent B&B! Clean and lovely rooms. My family of four had two rooms - everything was wonderful. You are spitting distance from the ferry which is really nice too. I wished we had gotten in a bit earlier the night before so I could poke around the area and maybe see some seals. Wi-Fi was great. Thanks for the stay!
