Ralph and Elizabeth could not have been more welcoming to their lovely house, I was even offered a glass of vin rouge in the kitchen on my return from a meal out The house if full of character, my bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. I left feeling almost one of the family!! Perfect!

Windy roads, miles and miles of lush green open countryside, the build up to our stay as we drove to The Lawns was filled with expectation. The house itself, at the end of a discreet, long, tree lined driveway, was unexpectedly grand. The entrance hall suggested a grand interior aswell. We received a very warm welcome from the owners Ralph... More

A first class B&B Breakfasts here like nowhere else, local produce, fresh strawberries, full English, the works! A beautiful house & gardens and useful advice on places to visit from our hosts Ralph and Elizabeth. McObie the dog was very well behaved and provided the entertainment - we would have liked to bring him home with us! Highly recommended for... More

My friend and i stayed here in August as part of our trip South whilst cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End. We were made to feel immensely welcome by the owners Ralph and Elizabeth who showed us to our room, and then kindly washed our cycle gear as well. Ralph was even so kind as to drive us the... More
