Very nice and clean place. Room was simple (situated in the annex, overlooking a small creek), but spacious except the bathroom. Surrounding area is well kept in order. Breakfast has exceeded our expectations and the same applies to the always smiling very kind staff.

In the small village of Ulvik, this B&B did justice to the quietness. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were quite spacious and the rooms allocated to us were right in the small stream that passed by. Bathroom was a bit small but manageable. Wifi is only available at the lobby and the dining room.... More

We stayed there for 3 nights in August 2013. Our room was large with the beautiful view to Hardangerfjord and Ulvik. Room was equiped with clean toilette and shower. Buffet breakfast was great and tasty and there were also served some Norwegian specialities. The environment of the hotel is very nice and it's such a cozy and quiet place. We... More

Stayed there for a week in August 2013. The views were amazing, rooms large and clean and suited our needs perfectly. The people who run the place were so welcoming and we felt at home straight away. The food tasted great and was presented nicely. I will be definitely returning to this hotel. The owners also had a lovely little... More

We reserved the room 2 month in advance via booking.com website at price of 990 NOK. After a long drive we reached the hotel at around 6 pm. The manager of this Hotel told us that hotel is full and then he upgrades us in another hotel: Ulvik hotel - 600 meters away. We got there a very small and... More

Thank you for your review, however I'm not sure that your statement of " Don't even think about this" is for my hotel or the Ulvik Hotel where you stayed? I did upgrade you to the Ulvik hotel, due to the workguys staying here went on to 2 shifts, this would have been disturbing for you and your wife. You... More

In Norway you generally get what you pay for. We arrived on a rainy and foggy day, so the loation didnt do much to brighten our impression of the room. The hotel is situated in beautiful fjord area known for fruit growing, well worth visitng on sunny days. So if you are looking for a relatively cheap place (by Norwegian... More

Stayed here one night. Comfortable bed, nice shower, very clean room. The downside is that the room has really thin walls. We could hear the couple next door yawning in the morning and they were really chatty from 9 to 11 pm. Even good earplugs couldn't do the trick. For me this was a deal breaker, but if you don't... The hotel does not present the greatest of impressions upon arrival - somewhat on the lines of a hostel, but we were pleasantly surprised at the interior. The English owner and his norwegian wife obviously have put a lot of care into this hotel and it shows. Yes, the rooms are basic and the walls a little thin but this... More

Our weekend away (children free) was lovely in every aspect. This hotel is well looked after by its charming owners Paul and Annlaug who have plenty of local knowledge. Our room was spacious and light. We ate a 3 course dinner (cooked by Paul) containing local ingredients and served with locally produced cider and apple juice - all delicious! We... More

Once again we entered Ulvik. Can't stay away, not only a fantastic place in the Hardanger Fjord, but also a very pleasant place to stay. Paul and Annlaug who run the place with a friendly and helpful staff - they got The Green Cafe and the camping aswell - always make you feel welcome. Some may feel that the standard... More
