Extremely Romantic place in the Mountains......serving a Special Style of Tapas. Apart from the 14 to 18 Courses the atmosphere is fantastic at an affordable price In the region of 30€ including wine and their "Welcome Special" is so different. Definitely a Romantic Visit.........plus.......

we booked 5 days at this hotel in May, first impressions excellent, welcoming owner, good accommodation lovely situation.BUT, the last point of call on the tour was the pool. it was empty with no prospect of immediate filling owing to a breakdown. This coincided with temps of 40c. We made our apologies and looked for another venue, which had the... More

We were not expecting much for dinner as we had not booked and we just arrived at 6pm. What a treat awaited us so a very large thank you to Vincent & Julian for cooking so many wonderful courses just for John & me. Really good value and Vincent told us all about each course. The above says it all. And the food was phenomenally good value and as good as a 3 Michelin starred restaurant I recently had the pleasure of visiting!!! I'd say you need to hire a car and there is loads to see in the area - every town has a castle and the Modernista Museum in Novelda is sublime. Make... More

The food is incredible, a mix of mediterranean and Julians own take on some special Spanish dishes, simple yet delicious. For me this place is a must visit for anyone even... More

We went back to this small hotel/restaurant 6 months after our eldest son's Spanish wedding venue for dinner. Vicente is a lovable, star host - he greeted us by name even though it was a surprise and he had no idea we were coming. The endless round of courses prepared by the sublime chef Lucien were astonishing considering we had... More

What a wonderful place this is, set amongst the foothills outside Elda. Our son and fiancée were married here and the wedding celebration and meal for 40 guests were very special. The sun shone and this highlighted the deep blue and yellow of the boutique rural building. The gardens are impeccably kept and enchanting. It is very quiet and the... More

What a wonderful find this is a very peaceful oasis. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. The room and pool were lovely. The sunday lunch of many different courses will remain in our memories forever. What a relief to spend 2 days away from the concrete coastline! Thank you.
