Just returned from a walking holiday in North Yorkshire staying four nights at the above inn, with three friends. This rates as one of the best in terms of welcome, service, food and drink. The local people are friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed. Rooms are clean and look out over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Rachel is a first class... More

Beautiful Yorkshire Inn in a stunning location. We stayed overnight yesterday and I would highly recommend it. The Inn itself is a cosy, warm Yorkshire Inn with a crackling real fireplace which was as warming as the welcome from both the owners and the locals. The food was delicious and was served up quickly. I had the slow cooked belly pork... More

We spent a week in the cottages across the road, had 3 evening meals and each was great. Lamb shank, slow cooked pork belly, steak. All perfectly cooked and huge portions. Landlady Rachel super friendly, great service. Wine is great value for money, beer wonderful. Would recommend dropping down to this pub rather than The Lion which is huge and overcrowded.

We visited here on 2 nights last week and Rachel and her Staff were very welcoming. Lovely food and lots of it especially the Scampi. My husband loved the beer, call in if you're around the area and you won't be disappointed.

Rachel runs a welcoming local pub , serving good home cooked food and beer. The minute you step into the pub its as if you live in the village and are part of the community. You don't want to leave! We will most certainly be back . Its dog friendly and Rachel and her staff , friends & locals cant... More

Bed and breakfast in the village pub while on the coast to coast. Small clean room in a small quiet village with an en suite shower. Good breakfast although service is a little slow as the landlady takes the orders, makes the tea and toast and cooks the breakfast all by herself.

We visit the Feversham arms on a regular basis, for steak pie usually, it's a perfect walk to/from Low Mill and dogs are always welcome. The steak pie is home made as are the chips. Not sure what the person had to eat who said everything was deep fried (shouldn't order fried food and then complain!!) Rachel and her staff... More

Visited last Sunday as one of a group of classic motorcyclists. There were approx 15 of us and most of us had something to eat without previously advising Rachel that we would be coming. As usual no complaints with portion sizes or quality.Rachel was her usual friendly self.A bit out of the way but worth a detour for the scenery and food.
