Once upon a time I almost bought a house opposite this out of the way pub. Probably just as well I didn't! I would now be as big as a barn door on the generous helpings and delightful meals. But joking apart, this has always been a favourite whenever in the district, so an excuse to have Sunday lunch is... More

We stayed nearby in this tiny place in beautiful surroundings, about 15 minutes drive from Hutton-le-hole. Went for two evening meals at the pub. Nice local pub atmosphere - and possibly the best pub food that I have had. Excellent (very large) portions, very tasty and great value too. Highly recommended and definitely worth a trip to get to for... More

We have just returned from a two night stay on a bed & Breakfast basis and wished we had stayed longer!! The welcome from Rachel the landlady was warm & genuine and the feversham Arms a real delight, & the Black Sheep ale a joy!! A rural English pub in the real sense , wonderful food & wine list priced... More

We have just returned from a two day stay & we had a lovely time. The location in terms of a rural idyll & retreat is wonderful. What is it that makes a hotel stay memorable? Well, the welcome was genuine & warm and Rachel was an excellent hostess. We all hanker for a typical English pub for good wholesome... More

I visited the Feversham Arms last June when I was doing the Coast to Coast with Merlin, my 8 year old German pointer dog. Rachel hospitality started when she arranged for a tired man and dog to be picked up from a nearby pub on the route. once settled in, we enjoyed food and company in the bar, followed by a... More

Traditional real ale pub with a friendly landlady. Excellent pub food and lovely views. The beds are very comfortable though the rooms are a bit light on toiletries. Overall a chance to get away from it all in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors..Excellent value.

We visited this pub several times whilst on holiday nearby and found great hospitality, excellent food and good beers and wines. The landlady was great and we and our border terrier received a really good welcome. We will certainly be back. Don't let one negative comment put you off!

The food was tasty and plentiful. I had sweet and sour chicken from the specials board the others had sirloin, parmesan, cod and traditional steak pie. All meals were served quickly, presented well and tasted lovely. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't enjoy sitting in the picturesque beer garden, will definitely be back.

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the coast to coast. We were expecting a lift to the pub as part of the service but were told it was just a 20 minute walk. After 40 mins walking and a very steep mile descent we reached the pub. The bedroom was adequate but the bathroom was disgusting. It was... More

Visited with my husband and another couple three weeks ago, as we hadn't been for a number of years and as it was a nice evening decided to have a run out. The place was very quiet when we arrived, however we still had to wait quite a while for our meal once ordered. There was a 'specials' board, but... More
