Haven’t been here for a couple of years, went recently and the service was unbelievably bad. The waiter got our order wrong then argued with us over what we had ordered. The food wasn't much better, the steak was tough, the chicken risotto only had three small pieces of chicken in it. Would we return – No way.

The management in this establishment are a bunch of clampits. Not a brain cell between them, DO NOT GO, also they don't pay their staff on time ( from what I've heard). I thought making a margarita pizza would have been easy enough even for the less educated, but I was wrong, the cheese just fell straight off the uncooked... More

I have visited here for years , food is cheap and decent quality, however one aspect of this place that seams to be getting worse is the service , normally it is rushed and very little customer care however after visiting this evening I felt the need to write a review about one member of staff in particular the elderly gentleman... This is honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. My husband and I stayed there with our 2 small kids in October 2014 and it was terrible. We were charged more than the quoted price when we booked, the room was small, pokey and dirty, the pillows and bedding was old and worn out - there were no... More

I went to the la Verna a couple of weeks ago but it was closed due to a funeral so went into the restaurant here instead absolute first class service food ordered for 5 people and arrived on time with everything we asked for . the prices are reasonable and the service first class could not do enough for us... We went to michelangelos for a anniversary meal and we really enjoyed it. The staff were polite and friendly and service was faultless. Our meals came very quickly and we were given the option to wait for main course for a few minutes or get it straight away. The food was delicious and could not be faulted. The restaurant itself... Been going here for over 10 years. Tonight we just missed the happy hour - it's well worth getting there before 7pm. We weren't too disappointed as the full price menu is still good value. The food and value for money aren't the stars here though, it's the waiting staff, especially Steph, she really went the extra mile tonight, nothing... More

Excellent meal, very accomodating and freindly staff. If you go between 12 and 7pm, the price is greatly reduced and offers still apply. There aren't many places you can get a 3 course meal with drinks for under £15 that isn't awful! Well worth it and more, many thanks! Didn't stay at the hotel, so can't comment.

We visited for the 3 course set menu on a Saturday afternoon with our 2 year old. On arrival I must admit I thought we had made a mistake, staff looked a little weary and conservatory was busy with young families - who left before our starters arrived. Once quieter it was a much nicer atmosphere. Staff turned out to... More

Popped in with my partner, the food here is authentic and bursting with flavour thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience will definitely be returning! It's really reasonably priced too, much cheaper than going into town but I actually think the food is better! Love love love
