Food was good and reasonably priced as usual. However service left something to be desired. Most of the staff were fine but one of the more mature waiters had what only can be described as "attitude". On several occasions through the meal he contradicted what we had asked for and was quite rude. When we reminded him we had asked... More

Went for lunch, most of the food was ok, nothing great but you don't expect good food for the prices they charge. Minestrone soup terrible and oily and pizza bases made from cheap flour, tomato sauce quite nice. The Italian male waiter was what however really spoilt the meal as he was rude from the start to end. My friend... More

When I arrived at the restaurant with my partner a few staff at the entrance egnored us while we stood there awkwardly then a little lady with mousey brown hair in a little high bun who seemed a little older than the others sat us down. The food and prices are spot on cheap and good quality. Fast service piping... More

We enjoyed a date night with faultless service and delicious food in authentic surroundings. The sparkling red wine was a lovely compliment to our meal. Complimentary fresh Italian bread and butter, garlic mushrooms for me and mozzarella and beef tomato salad for my partner followed by gamberoni (garlic king prawns ) and rigatoni with homemade meatballs. we were too stuffed... If you're looking for a cheap meal and don't care about poor service then it's fine. It really is about volume but I'd rather pay more and get better food and good service. The drinks aren't cheap but the happy hour food is although the portions aren't huge and quality just 'ok'. The garlic bread without tomato or cheese is... More

This is our local & food is always ok, it's cheap & cheerful so you have to expect what you pay for really. Happy hour is always a good deal, usually get a starter of potato skins which are always a generous portion & are tasty. Pasta or pizza for main, again tasty but nothing special. The good thing is... In search of an early, inexpensive tea, we wandered in during happy hour without any preconceptions. We were seated quickly and served efficiently too. Choosing starters and mains, we were happy with everything that was served to us - potato skins, garlic mushrooms, pizza and calzone. A very small Grumble would just be that some dishes seemed to be slightly... More

We pre-booked a table but no-one appeared to know about the booking when we arrived. The waiter appeared unhappy and keep repeating that he had been very busy that day!! We ordered crispy chicken wings in bbq sauce for starters but when it arrived I think they had mislaid the 'crispy' as all it was plain chicken wings and bbq... More

My mother in law has asked me to leave this review- she and her friends visited here a couple of weeks ago and when she asked the waitress if the vegetables were fresh or frozen she was just given a torrent of abuse, she said of course they were fresh, what sort of places did she go to, in a...
