We decided to spend two nights here to celebrate our anniversary. I knew from previous reviews to expect a "compact" room and so there was no surprise in fact we found it quite adequate. Once the balcony doors were open it was really lovely. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the deck and we're delighted to be joined by a... More

We had a very nice stay the room was top quality and we had a friendly possum for a neighbour . We also took a spa and enjoyed the night time stairs which was just magic. Also the care takers were very welcoming and genuine.

Beautiful tranquil accommodation. We enjoyed the spa by the pool and in the room, sitting out on the deck among the 'rainforest' and cuddling in bed watching tv. Everything was thought of (the small details like organic coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner were greatly appreciated by us). The hospitality was wonderful with the hosts bring so friendly and accommodating. The... More

The location is away from the centre of Byron Bay, but it is okay. The room itself is very small with no room to move. We felt as if we were living in a dolls house! The breakfasts were great and the staff are very friendly. It is not a place for a return visit as we need more space,... More

Dear Guest, we thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you felt the rooms were overpriced, but being Easter and the Bluesfest, the prices in Byron are always higher. We feel that our prices are extremely reasonable for Byron Bay and for this time of the year. Most people are happy to be away from the overcrowded town... More

I can't believe you can stay so close to town yet feel so relaxed. The room was good, clean and very comfortable. Everything you need. Quite, relaxed and what we were looking for. My style of accommodation loved it. Negatives mmmmmm not much maybe the kookaburra in the morning. Positives value for money, close to town and comfortable room. We... More

I arrived late at night, but was accommodated easily. The room was stunning in its simplicity and clever design. While small, it was well appointed, very clean and contained all I needed including fresh local coffee and a French press. I awoke to the sound of Whip birds and enjoyed the delightful view of the forrest from the shower. I... More

This accommodation is nothing like its photos. The room is tiny and every surface in the room was covered with mold and mildew. After a short stay in this un healthy environment and my partner and I where forced to seek other accommodation. I would not recommend this stay and if you suffer with allergies of any type AVOID this... More

Thank you for raising your concerns. Yes, we have attacked this problem with mould. We thought were on top of the situation and it seems that we might have slipped up on a few spots. Being in a unique temperate forest with above normal rain fall and high humidity; we are aware that mildew can become a problem. We stepped... More

To reach this hidden retreat, a car is needed. We arrived to a friendly reception. The room was modest in size, overlooked trees and a view of the forrest. A sunken spa in the room next to the bed was adequate for one person. They offered free wifi. There was a small flatscreen TV with free to air channels above... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2015

We spent four nights in this beautiful retreat in early January, 2015. It was the most beautiful and peaceful place to be. Waking up in the rainforest and to the sound of birds chirping was absolutely surreal. The guestroom we stayed in was a Queen Jacuzzi Room. It was quite a small room, but JUST big enough for the short... More
