We booked a big cottage in advance via agoda. The one they gave us was very basic but ok. In the evening we found out that 3 out of 5 lights didn't work. Though reading was not possible (and reading is one of the very few things you can do in Taytay after sunset), we got another cottage. The lights... More

Hello Klaus, Your review was brought to my attention. As the owner of Casa Rosa I am concerned and have gone to great lengths to discover what happened during your stay. I wish I had been at Casa Rosa to offer you a new light bulb and explain that we are having problems with our water heaters. Most of our... More

There were some really good things about this hotel including a magnificent panaromic view from the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was also some of the best we experienced in a two-week jaunt through Palawan. Furthermore, the Casa Rosa complex is attractively landscaped with flowering shrubs and orchids in pots. We also liked the cottages, which featured hammocks on... More

Excuse me sir, I object to your slander! Casa Rosa is known as a beautiful yet simple inn that offers clean comfortable rooms. I was alarmed by your comment and personally conducted a thorough inspection of all rooms. You are wrong; Casa Rosa does not and has never had the problem you claim. We did not have any complains from... More

Our stay at the Casa Rosa was fine all in all. We appreciated the place, which is nicely located in a little garden upon the hill. The view from the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and provides the perfect environment for a reading afternoon while having a fresh calamansi juice. The restaurant itself serves good international and local dishes (try their... More

Wrongly stayed one night but it was lovely. Great view at the restaurant and lounge. Cabins were simple but clean and comfortable. No air con but the fan was enough. The power runs all day, and there is hot water. Wonderful food and amazing view of Taytay harbour.

Great family day out. Not as expressive as I thought it would be. Staff are friendly and very helpful, toilets were clean and tidy. Every age group is catered for, just a great day all round. Will recommend it

Casa Rosa is a very pleasant place to stay overnight if you are in Taytay. It has a beautiful view from a high hillside with a cool breeze. Staff are very helpful and food is good. Unfortunately Casa Rosa is not on the beach so a longer stay is probably not likely. They do offer some interesting-looking trips in the... More

The cottages are lovely, decorated with a mix of ethnic and cottage-style decors. Each one had a little porch, lounge chairs and a hammock. The very clean room we got was spacious, had a sitting area and big queen-sized beds, which were uber comfy. Views were amazing (sunsets, the bay, Fuerza de Santa Isabel, etc.) and the place had really... More

We only stayed on night but really enjoyed it. No A/C in the rooms but the fan kept us cool enough. Wifi is also only around the restaurant. The highlight is the dining/lounge area, which has a fantastic +180-degree view of Taytay. The food is also very good and the Tanduay rum is cheap and comes fast. Basic, but a... More

There is a steep pathway up the side of a hill to access the premises. We were two people and stayed in a hut with double bed and ensuite for one night on the way to El Nido. It was furnished with bamboo furniture but the bed was very hard and ensuite was OK. Great views from the open air... More

We were 4 and stayed in 2 private cottages which were very nice and with a wonderful view of the bay. The restaurant also is beautiful and I could have also vegetarian meal which is always so complicated in the Philippines. For breakfast they also bake a very nice homemade bread! The owner and the staff were friendly and helpful... More
