So, I recently stayed on business for one night at Cara Suites. It was a team of Hoteliers, Resort and Tour Operators who came down in Trinidad for a Sales Blitz on our properties in Guyana. Also, celebrating our 50th Anniversary of Independence our local Tourism Association had organised the trip. Upon arrival, the girls at the front desk did... More

Dear Mr. Gajie: Congratulations on your country's anniversary in celebrating 50 years of Independence and thank you for your positive review regarding your stay. It was definitely a pleasure hosting the Tourism and Hotel Association of Guyana for the 2016 Roadshow, we do trust that this venture was a successful one. Your feedback regarding the AC situation was well received... More

I am generally not a fussy person, so when i write this review saying it was a disappointing experience, know that it has to be something below basic expectations of a paying guest. I made my reservation in December 2015 at the hotel. I was greeted courteously by staff there, however the first thing that made me abit uncomfortable came... More

Hotels in this area are very sparse. The pictures on the web site make the hotel look like the usual idyllic caribbean hotel in an idyllic location. However there are not much beaches in this area of Trinidad and it is very industrialised near by. The coastline in slightly obscured by some high grade apartments which blocks out some of... More

My husband and I booked through expedia.com and stayed at this hotel to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The hotel is quite a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life and was very quiet during our stay. Check-in was fast and efficient. The staff was polite and friendly. The room was very well maintained. The food was delicious. Our... More

My husband and I and son booked a night out at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to be allocated an executive suite. A wonderful room with all amenities. Wonderful room with nice sized bathroom. It was quiet and the staff was courteous. That night, there was a buffet dinner and it was... More

The visit was nice, the room was "ocean view" but it was about 10 feet away from the ocean. The place had alot of flies and the walk to the to the restaurant was far.. the people was pleasant but the only reason I will go back there is because the breakfast buffet was excellent .....

My second stay at Cara Suites. Nothing much has changed. The check in was efficient although they were supposed to send a taxi to fetch us from the airport. The taxi driver they organised after that though was always early and a very cautious driver. The rooms are nice and spacious. The air-conditioner was quite noisy but that was not... More

I strongly recommend that you consider and visit Cara Suites Hotel when planning your next get-away. My family and I recently vacationed at the hotel to celebrate our 6th Wedding Anniversary, and we all had a blast. A truly enjoyable vacation. Our suite was fantastic with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Paria, the hotel has friendly staff and... More

I returned to celebrated my 6th Wedding Anniversary at Cara Suites with my family. The Hotel continues to win my vote for local leisure and/or business activities compared to the Port of Spain options. A few reasons that come to mind are: 1. There is lots of parking available (with no added fee), 2. There are no sirens going off... More

Travelling to Trinidad 4 times a year I got to love this hotel very much. Due to its proximity to the industrial estate you will mostly meet business professionals here. The location is on the hillside near a main road. You will not hear sounds from the road, however, as the rooms are facing towards the other side => The... More
