On arrival the site looked beautiful basking in the sun. Communications in Reception when checking in started off ok but we were left waiting around not knowing it was a "pick your own" pitch. Having been used to sites where your pitch is already chosen we were left waiting around. With hungry children and dogs needing the toilet we finally... More

We had a weekend here glamping We stayed in one of the pods It was cold but the pod was so cosy and warm. Had a heater and a fridge, kettle and toaster, cutlery etc Bed was super comfy, slept like a baby. They also had toilets a short walk away and an outdoor kitchen area to wash up and... More

I hate packing too much stuff when I camp. So when I rocked up with my tent and airbed and not much else, it was great to see that there was enough there to keep me going. Free tea and coffee, a microwave, a fridge, a hob (that wasn't working though...), and some plug sockets to charge my phone, served... More

We stayed here in a touring caravan for three nights. Wow factor on arrival was high, as the site is beautiful; stylish, immaculately kept, and teaming with facilities. I was disappointed that at nearly thirty pounds a night you still have to pay for showers. Yes, all payments for showers go to the air ambulance, but this should be optional.... More

I am sorry if you felt I was rude but you are probably unaware of just how much sound carries at that time of night from the thin walls of a caravan. Your noise had awoken me so I was worried other campers may be disturbed. I then said in your defence that maybe it was because you were putting... More

I have to say this is one of the best kept sites I have been to in the 6 years I have been caravanning. The layout is lovely and the planting around each pitch is a great touch. It's also set in a stunning area within easy reach of some great footpaths and two lovely pubs. Unfortunately my whole experience... More

Perfect site for our needs. Clean facilities, communal kitchen great idea and ability to use own our fire pit was a bonus. Don't be put off by previous comments regarding rules. They are reasonable and help everyone enjoy their break. We did witness another camper and his family arguing with the warden regarding their wish to let there dog run... More

Great site with pods for the Glampers, electric and hard stands for bigger campers. Good showers and toilets. Free tea and coffee! Friendly staff. Also lamas! 3 good pubs nearby. Great for cycling. You can even walk to Stonehenge. Will come again!

The attention to detail that goes into this is so lovely and welcoming. Free teas and coffees, milk and eggs for sale. Kitchen utensils, a kettle even a hob, they have it all to use and you'd think it would become unclean or untidy but it was actually immaculate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would have just liked to... More

Thank you so much for the kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciate all the positive remarks. Unfortunately we had to introduce a charge on the showers due to water wastage but you can have as long a shower as you like just pop in another 20p and while you are enjoying your... More

Lovely site where free teas and coffees are on offer, eggs are for sale and fire pits, kindling and logs to hire. No regimented pitches allow for a very relaxed feel. Feeding the alpacas every morning is great for the kids. Very clean loos and showers, too.Thank you for a lovely few days! We will be back!
