The staff at SC are very friendly and helpful. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival and shown around the facilities (small kitchen with hob/toaster/fridge/kettle and 3 sinks). Although the on site toilets and showers are kept clean and tidy they did get quite busy on the weekend and we did have to queue to use them in the morning.... More

We found the site after an impulsive Stonehenge stop. Two nights in a small Campervan with a hook up. Perfect for us - two adults and two kids that could free range across the enclosed site. The welcome and support was absolutely brilliant. We would not hesitate to return or recommend this site. The girls shower block was described as... More

Dave and Liane are the wardens at Stonehenge Campsite and they could not be better. They were thoughtful, friendly, helpful and created a very positive atmosphere as soon as we arrived. Being able to have a campfire was a real plus as well, quite a rarity in the UK. There were also electrical hook ups along the fence side of... More

We received a warm welcome and the wardens were really helpful and friendly. The campsite is stunning with fab facilities, and we really enjoyed using the fire-pit for some outdoor cooking! A great venue for a family trip, our girls loved it. We also had lots of fun nature spotting on the banks surrounding the field....grasshoppers, crickets and even a... More

As campsites go... This is great. Staff are excellent, friendly, visible and helpful. Location is great for exploring Salisbury.. ( find the snakey hill to get to the city avoiding the Stonehenge gawping traffic. Great atmosphere while we were there. The only one thing... Facilities were in great nick, but there were 64 tents while we were there. And not... More

Heartily recommend this campsite. Friendly and helpful staff, with good local knowledge. Great kitchen facilities for those wet weather cook offs. Showers and torts cleaned regularly. Shower temperatures can fluctuate - watch your bits us all I'm saying. :-)

This is the best camp site we've been to!. It is not too big - the children can run around and play and still be within sight and it is quiet at night with no loud noise after 10pm . The toilet and shower facilities are pristine and the site is kept very clean. There is a kitchen available for... More

We arrived on a Friday afternoon expecting to be directed to out pre booked and paid electric pitch, however instead we were told that they weren't sure they had an electric pitch available. After some Time the warden directed us to a pitch in front of the main field tap and told us to pull our tent as far away... More

So it's been a few years since I've been camping at a dedicated site other than music festivals, and this was a nice way to get back into it. Two decent sized fields in a beautiful part of the world, one set aside for open fires and barbecues and another closer to the facilities, and then a strip of pitches... More
