Room was clean and comfortable. We had a quad share room with 4 single beds - big enough for us to place our things without feeling crowded. Room also came with 2 power sockets, a table, air-cond and gas powered hot water. One towel provided per guest. Bring your own toiletries as only a small bar of soap is provided.... More

You come here to dive. The accommodation is adequate, the food very good, the staff excellent! A great place to relax, snorkel and scuba. Seems to be a lot to see. The Resort is small and so for the best stay, check the occupancy of the site. If it is nearly full then come back another time - it is... More

The day started with a quite bumpy ride across from the mainland to Tenggol Island which took a little less than one hour. We had two snorkelling sessions and an excellent bbq lunch in between. The coral is fabulous and so much sea-life to sea. Highlights included turtle, baby shark and giant clams, as well as so many species of... More

The island is small and there were only few other people beside us. Maybe due to its unpopularity as compared to other island such as Redang & Perhentian. However, the diving locations here are far more greater than the other popular islands here in east coast of peninsular Malaysia. The beach is clean too and the resort is just nice.... More

We were there for 6 days with 14 divers from Germany. We were all of the same opinion: we had found paradise. There were only 5 to 10 other tourists on this island. We had a very great time with Robinhood Demowal, the chief of the diving center. He showed us very special diving sites which are nearly unknown. "Moonraker"... More

We came here on a diving trip to get our open water licenses and had extremely low expectations when we arrived. Yet we arrived in our chalet (four people could fit in to our room :)) and it was clean, with an ensuite bathroom and aircond included! The place is rustic - you really are not meant to spent too... This little island resort had all the amenities that we needed for a quick get away. It is very rustic but, perfect for a dive get away. We only stayed one night and found the room to be clean and the staff was friendly. Food was good, although it was Malaysian, so for a westerner it might be challenging as... More

Tenggol Island Beach Resort, this review is specific to that Standard Chalet room number 16 ! I suggest that you renovate the chalet room number 16. The toilet is very dirty. The hand shower was broken. We needed to turn off the water supply. The shower, hand shower, faucet and tissue holder are all rusted. The floor needs to be... More
