Went there during Hari Raya, Its a small beautiful island with nice reefs just 50m outside of the resort ! Its good for snorkeling but my suggestion is to go take up discovery dive is you don't have diving licence because Tenggol Island has many beautiful diving spots around it ! As for the food, PERFECT ! They have breads... More

Tenggol Island is a beautiful and quite island not so congusted compare to Perhentian Islands and Redang Island. If you like quite and nice beach, Tenggol Island will be a island that is suitable for you. Tenggol mostly for diving and snorkeling activities. There is a beautiful coral reef on the right end of the beach with lots of coral... More

Tenggol Island Beach Resort isn't a 5-star place, you're not going to be getting an infinity pool or plush sun loungers, and waiters sending you cocktails by the beach. However, if you're here to dive, or even just to snorkel, they have all that you will need. Our room was clean and adequate, AC works great and bed was comfy.... More

I recently brought three other divers for a 4D3N trip to Tenggol Island Beach Resort. We managed to secure the two more recently renovated rooms which was Room #22 and Room #23. Both were meant for three persons though we only stayed two persons per room. It was on the second floor facing the forest and was very nice and... More

I have no complaint about the room, it's very basic but everything works fine. We had the room (balcony) facing another row of rooms but our main door is facing the jungle which is awesome! The people is friendly and attentive to your needs, diving is great and I'd say the best diving island in peninsular Malaysia. As a diver,... More

Went for a few days to Tenggol, unfortunately I was not able to stay at Coral Beach Resort so was forced to go here. The room was poorly maintained, like not able to close the balcony door and outside watertap half broken. Because I was not diving with them, I was still forced to pay for the snorkelling package, which... More

Tenggol Island is a scuba diver's paradise. Seeing bumphead parrot fish on every dive, plus more than 10 type of nudibranches on one dive is just amazing. The coral reef in the area are brilliant! Stunning is all I can say… There is nothing much to do here expect for diving so if you're not a diver, please don't bother.... More

If you want a place which is not full of trainee divers, and purely used by sport divers, this is the place. Basic, but comfortable, food is typically Malay but edible. The great thing about this island, is that the people who run it, respect the coral, so it is in pristine condition. I suggest you bring your own alcohol,... More

Even in Nov month, still had 5 good dives at Tenggol Island lead by the friendly, experienced DM, Robin. Visibility was good except for one dive at Tokong Timur. Visited the same dive site on day two although would have preferred a new site but that may have been due to bad weather conditions. Otherwise found dive sites at Tenggol... More

This was my second trip to Tenggol and the resort has added some new accommodation blocks and common amenities to make the stay more comfortable. I recognised some of the staff and management from my trip 6 yrs ago and the great personal treatment you receive from them still hasn't changed. If you want to leave it all behind on... More
