11th to this lovely Island-Thanks again to the Management & Staff-returned 12/12/14.(14 days) Biyadhoo is a simple -no shoes,no news,Island NOT what you would read in the Sunday Mags.etc. No swimming pool-no rooms over the water,no TV,W/F now,but do not bother! The six Blocks offer simple rooms, cleaned twice a day, with A/C (A Must) Why would people complain? -Blue,warm gentle Sea?... More

Biyadoo Island – Maldives....Paradise revisited! What an amazing and wonderfully relaxing holiday this has been! Biyadoo – pronounced Bi-Ya-Doo – is truly a 'Lovers Paradise'....an idyllic 'chocolate box' island we all dream about. The softest of white sands, beautiful palm trees, tropical vegetation and crystal clear azure ocean...who could ask for more! Biyadoo stands out from many of the Maldivean... More

Having read the earlier reviews we didn't arrive at Biyadhoo with an impression that we'd be staying in a place of luxury and I think that's the best way to go there. Yes the accommodation is a bit dated (due to be upgraded 2015) but if you can cope with 3 star rooms with slightly suspect showers then you will... More

This island is very small, peaceful and ideal for relaxation, this Island also known as Picnic Island. From Maafushi, a day trip can be arranged to this Island where you can enjoy barbecue lunch on this Island. Go for a dive or can do fishing on this Island is a very good option.

Visited this island for 10 nights. If you are looking for 5 star resort with an infinity pool this is not it. It's probably a 3 star. If you are looking for a good value honest little underdeveloped resort this is it. It's a great laid back island with no airs and graces or pretentions. The staff are great. The... More

Initial Impression My wife and I were disappointed with the first impression as we arrived but grew to love it quite quickly. It is clearly the aim of the management to achieve a rustic feel and this permeates through the whole island giving a relaxed feel. Rooms. We were in room 44 which faces east. You can only see forest... More

As a budget option this works. Don't pack shoes or laptop. Just throw as many books on the kindle as you can, swim, read, sleep. Perfect. I spent two weeks looking at fish either from the pier, through a face mask or on the table at dinner. If you want all singing all dancing entertainment and luxury then it's not... More

Just come back from here: a fantastic holiday with no negatives. (I am surprised at the review below; I wonder whether people sometimes don't bring a negative attitude with them). The island was fumigated every evening. I took deet but didn't use it and in consequence had the odd bite. There didn't seem to be any particular issues with mosquitos... More

We visited Biyadhoo in May this year...our 4th visit to the Maldives and 3rd different island. From the minute we arrived we found ourselves comparing to other budget islands we had been to, this was a little unfair to Biyadhoo but for similar prices their island is not as 'pretty' as Hudhuranfushi or Fihahlhohi. This really was our only complaint... More

It may sound like a budget option, but by the time you have paid for all the items not included in the "all inclusive" package, it really isn't. I have never been on an all inclusive package before where the mini bar items weren't included - make sure your kids know not to remove items from the 1970's fridge graced... More
