Stayed with family first two weeks of October. First visit to the Maldives and thoroughly enjoyed it. Accommodation was as expected but kept spotlessly clean. Food was varied and tasty. Staff were outstanding, particulary our waiter Reepa. Reef was wonderful for snokeling. We saw turtles, rays, sharks, octopus and a wide variety of fish. If you are prone to mossie... More

My wife and I stayed at this resort between the 25th September - 11th October 2014. We had initially read through lots of the reviews on here, many of which make reference to the rooms being dated and it not being luxury. We didnt really understand what all the fuss was about? Okay, so it's not a luxurious 5* resort... More

Husband and I have just returned from visit to Biyadhoo with Kuoni. As before, just great, the island is laid back, rooms tired but spotless, food has plenty of choice and the staff work so hard to see you have all you need. The guests are a lovely mix of down to earth sorts who have a good time with... More

This was our 3rd visit in September this year (2014), travelling from London with Kuoni, stayed AI. Upgrade work was taking place but we hope the island doesn't change too much and price itself out of a reasonable price range. Everything that can be said about the food and tired rooms has been said so We won't dwell on that.... More

This was my first ever long haul holiday for myself and my mum which I can only describe as being out of this world. Biyadhoo has basic acommadation however with 5* service. Our cleaner Naseer had worked from early morning to late night to provide us with the best service he could offer. The beach was outstanding with crystal clear... More

Second trip to the Maldives. This is very different from the first. Accommodation is slightly small and very tired but is kept exceptionally clean and tidy by a pleasant and hard-working staff. Lighting is dim, wardrobes must be seen to be believed, plugs are a mix of 3-pin round [yes, really. These disappeared from the UK 30 years ago!] and... More

I paid £1000 for 9 nights, all inclusive package. For a 3* resort I thought the amenities and the rooms were alright. The place is old, and the fixtures in the room are dated, but the place was always clean. It didn’t’ really bother me that much as I don't spend that much time in the rooms anyway (or you... More

This 3* Island had a lot of bad reports on trip advisor, hopefully I can put the records straight. Firstly the reports of tired accommodation, I can understand people's views on this as the accommodation is old, but perfectly suitable for a 3* resort and you don't spend too much time in there (or you shouldn't do). The food is... More

You only have to read (most of) the other reviews to establish what this little paradise island is like. This island does all the simple pleasures beautifully, not extravagantly, which is what makes it such a great place. There was a great cross-section of people here from all walks of life, rich or poor, who all get put in the... More

Have just returned from a sixth visit to this special island. The staff, as usual, work really hard to look after their guests. They contributed to making my birthday really special. The chefs are very creative and produce lovely meals and a wide choice of dishes. We have heard that plans are well advanced to upgrade the island to 4... More
