As a budget option this works. Don't pack shoes or laptop. Just throw as many books on the kindle as you can, swim, read, sleep. Perfect. I spent two weeks looking at fish either from the pier, through a face mask or on the table at dinner. If you want all singing all dancing entertainment and luxury then it's not... More

Just come back from here: a fantastic holiday with no negatives. (I am surprised at the review below; I wonder whether people sometimes don't bring a negative attitude with them). The island was fumigated every evening. I took deet but didn't use it and in consequence had the odd bite. There didn't seem to be any particular issues with mosquitos... More

We visited Biyadhoo in May this year...our 4th visit to the Maldives and 3rd different island. From the minute we arrived we found ourselves comparing to other budget islands we had been to, this was a little unfair to Biyadhoo but for similar prices their island is not as 'pretty' as Hudhuranfushi or Fihahlhohi. This really was our only complaint... More

It may sound like a budget option, but by the time you have paid for all the items not included in the "all inclusive" package, it really isn't. I have never been on an all inclusive package before where the mini bar items weren't included - make sure your kids know not to remove items from the 1970's fridge graced... More

Stayed at Biyadhoo Island Resort in October, Great place to stay if you just want to chill and swim, the snorkelling is great, lot's to see and easy access to the reef. Food is not great but is good, always something to eat for every taste, the selection of bread and the desserts are especially good. Everyone on the island... More

biyadhoo is a great way to see if you really can do nothing....as there really is nothing there, which is the beauty of the island. You don't even need to wear shoes so don't pack them...the hotel itself is spread over the small island no swimming pool but why would you need one with the Indian Ocean on your door... More

We stayed in Biyadhoo Oct 2014 and had a fabulous time. The rooms are basic but immaculately clean, food is excellent, (especially the soup and bread) and waiting service both in restaurant and at the bar was superb. We also did quite a few dives on the house reef and loved every minute. Our only comments for improvement would be... More

This is a three star hotel so do not expect 5star accommodation. The food is buffet style, is plentiful and good quality. The service is excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but the bathrooms need updating. It is rumoured that this may happen in the next couple of years so if you want to experience the Maldives on the... More

Resort on its own island with excellent coral reef and fish surrounding it.which you reach by Biyadhoo's own speedboats which are moored just outside the airport. It is only a 3 star with basic rooms in 6 blocks (which is reflected in the price)but the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a very good choice of food and drinks. You are... we stayed on this beautiful Island for 2 weeks via Kuoni. Unlike the other Maldivian Islands this one is affordable. The rooms are in six blocks and one story high, we had the first floor and could look out through the Islands palm trees and beautiful flora and fauna. The rooms are basic, but very clean, and adequate. The young... More
