This hostel is a great find! We weren't expecting much, given how cheap the price was so we were delighted to find a lovely, homely hostel with large, clean rooms all with private bathrooms. There is a big kitchen and a nice common area for eating, watching movies or just hanging out. The best part though is the owners. So... More

The hostel is situated is about 2 km away from the center of El Bolsón in a quiet housing area. But it is worth the distance! Mandala is a modern (new built) buliding and very clean, one of the best hostels I stayed at in Argentina. Moreover, it is rather cheap! The owners are super friendly, very helpful and make... More

I stayed in Hostel Mandala for four nights and really enjoyed it. The hostel has a very chilled out, friendly feel and the owners are such lovely people! The have lots of information about local tours, beers home-brewed by a friend and even put on a pizza and Tarot reading night which was great fun. I'd definitely stay there if... More

Hostel Mandala was amazing! Best hostel I've stayed in during my South America trip. It is a very modern and very clean building. The atmosphere and general vibe of the hostel was fantastic! This place seems to attract really friendly travelers. The communal area is a great place to hang out and chat with people. The owners are seriously awesome... More

While the Hostel may be a bit far from town, the staff and facilities make the stay worthwhile. Rooms are large and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The hostel gets very quiet at night allowing for very peaceful sleep. The owners, Alejandro and Adriana, are incredibly friendly, willing to help and easy to talk to. Excellent facilities: large... Yes, this hostel is a little far from town, a cab journey in fact...its too far to walk!! But nonetheless you should still stay here (cabs aren't expensive)... El Bolson is not that big you don't need to pay the town a visit everyday. Mandala Hostel is very cozy and beautifully kept by the lovely owners. They are super friendly... More

We had an amazing time at Hostel Mandala. We stayed for 3 nights in June 2014. Having spent a bustling few days in Bariloche arriving in El Bolson was a calming change. Alexandria and Alejandro were fantastic hosts making sure we had all the information and anything else that we needed. This hostel is brand new and is beautiful. Heating... More

Yes, it's indeed a little far. But El Bolsón is not that type of city that you'll need to go to the city centre all the time. It's a bucolic city perfect for relaxing times. So the hotel being a little far doesn't change much. The hostel is perfect! Very clean and secure, beautiful bathrooms, totally fully equipped kitchen! And... More

Thank you very much for your opinion. It is a pleasure to listen to those who, like you, had a good experience in El Bolson and carried a good impression of our Hostel. Concerning our "location" as appears from our website and all websites in which we appear, we are in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by tranquility and 3 minutes... More

We stayed at hostel Mandala for 3 nights. It is a beautiful and well kept hostel and the owners, Alexandria and Alejandro, are really nice and helpful. They take the time to inform you about the activities in the surroundings and make you feel at home. It is a 20 minutes walk to town, but we did not mind. The... More

Okay, so this is a 25 minute walk from the centre of town but we can't recommend this hostel highly enough. If being in the centre isn't essential for you, do yourself a favour and stay here. Firstly it is beautiful. There are arts & crafts all around, not least the impressive stained glass window and mosaic floor. The love... More
