Just far enough out of town to be tranquillo this hostel is really one of a kind, were else do you get your own little wooden cabin to share with some fellow travellers, bikes to cycle around on and an apple tree right outside the front door...don't miss it this place is so much more than a hostel!

I stayed at La casa del Viajero for two weeks. Ate fresh apples, plums, walnuts, tomatoes and pumpkin grown in their organic gardens. The rooms are warm and cosy inside wooden cottages set on beautiful grounds a ten minute walk from the centre of town. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly people who live on site. Friends of the... More

The 6 of us rented 1 of Augustin's cabins & were met with great service. Advice on hiking, restaurants, a sauna, grill, fresh bread, yoga, & salad from his garden were awesome. 30 minute walk to town.

We really enjoyed staying here. Augustin and his wife, Laura, were delightful and kept everything clean and lovely. The spot is a short walk in what I considered El Bolson's suburbs but everything was cozy and very green efficient. I'd recommend this place to everybody!

A bit out of town but easily walking distance and definitely worth it. Really lovely owners and a great atmosphere. Clean and chilled out. The perfect place to relax for a few days and have a walk around the organic garden or hang out in a hammock. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Arrived at the bus station with no place to go, and were greeted by Augustin who asked if we would like to stay at his hostel/home. Accepted his offer and couldn't have been happier about it. Perfect spot for a perfect town. Great, chill vibe and excellent facilities. Augustin and his wife Laura are beyond welcoming, and did everything they... More

Augustin and Laura run this beautiful hideaway in el bolson. The cabins are really cozy and augustin built them himself. Laura does really good yoga classes every morning for free which was a great way to start the day. El bolson itself is such a nice place to visit. There is a fantastic Market there I think it was thurs... More

We stayed 2 nights here and had a great time. Augustin and his wife were excellent hosts, they picked us up and dropped us off at bus station, gave us great ideas on hiking (augustin has his own 'special map'). The dorm was cozy and basic, cold in the morning, but no problems once fire was on. The hostel is... More
