Great room, great view, great people. I had intended leaving El Bolson earlier but got stuck by a religious holiday - all bus seats out of town were full for several days - so I stayed for the extra time at La Posada de Hamelin, and very glad I did. The room was clean and comfortable, the building was like... More

The room was fantastic. An artistic design, with wooden beams and hobbit like architecture. We had a great night's sleep. Perfect. The bathroom was fine, except that we needed to ask for the bath plug but the owner was not always there. The breakfast was very fine indeed, with generous portions. Impressed with the coffee. But I felt this place... More

This is the place I swore I wouldn't review because I wanted it kept secret. But one of the other guests advised that it was already revealed, so here I am. I stayed two extra nights in El Bolson just because the Hamelin was so comfortable. It has no conceivable faults. The rooms are wonderfully cozy, the owners are like... More

La Posada is a nice, centrally located place in El Bolson. My wife and I usually stay in hostels which can be just as good as more pricier B&Bs, but it was difficult to find a hostel in El Bolson that didn't have some horror story about bed bugs. Positives: The owners, as other reviewers have said, are very nice... More

Despite arriving some 12 hours later then planned at 2am due to issues with the flight, there was no problem. The following morning we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast before going trekking in the surrounding area. Sylvia provided us with some really great advise about things to look out for at this time of year, and without asking offered to hold... More

We came across this place by chance, although it is listed in a lot of the guide books. We arrived in El Bolson to torrential rain and had to find a bed for the night. We stayed for five days! The Lonely Planet is spot on with this one. Rooms are a really good size, all with loads of character... More

We arrived in El Bolson and looked around for a place to stay until we encountered this well curated posada, a few blocks away from the city center. The place and its rooms are so charming, old-fashioned wood, "natural" style... The owners are very kind and for some pesos more they will provide you with a variable and very tasteful... More

The Posada de Hamelin is in El Bolson, Patagonia, 120 km south of San Carlos de Bariloche. The Posada has 4 small rooms to rent. The owners are really very nice, friendly and helpful. English and German speaking. The rooms are very small. The carpet in our room was old and ugly and should be replaced soon. Our room was... More
