I spent one night in Sirikwa hotel in Eldoret after 10 hours drive from Alale on 27th May 2014 . The stuff members are friendly and well trained but Vincent Kabere was the most outstanding waiter. My room was superb and good was good as well.

Had one night in this place and it was all good with clean rooms, beds and beddings, constant running water, friendly staff and standard breakfast with an exception of well maintained swimming pool, although had no enough sleep due to noise from the traffic.

Stayed here before and it was in the throes of renovation.Got a room on the top floor, though you need a porter to carry your bags up if you cannot.Spacious clean comfortable room with great views over the hotel grounds and poolside.New room though did not have a television, though they will rectify this. Buffet breakfast was the usual medley of eggs,sausages,fruit,tea,coffee... More

Slightly odd in the fact it looks like offices but fully functional as a good hotel. Friendly, clean, organised and helpful, the staff were always quick to help with bags and taking orders. Food fairly average but absolutely fine if you are not looking for 5-star cuisine. The only thing that it could do with is a bit more sound-proofing... More

I am currently staying in the Sirikwa. I am staying in one of the VIP suites, which are large, spacious and have an airy feel to the place. The staff are attentive and service is with a smile. I was given a free even meal during my stay without additional cost. The pool area is exceptional and well kept. I... More

As the other reviews have stated, this place is working its way back up to a grand position. The poolside is pleasant and has wifi and there is a bar to the side of the pool for some quiet drinks. The terrace is just as nice though was busy with campaigining politicians.Had dinner in the restaurant which admittedly is in need of renovation... The restaurant outside has a Expresso Maschine! Wicked with real coffe in Kenya! The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean and great, however for some reason the owners think that a Dj playing loud music ripped from Youtube (poor quality) and several tv's turned on on different channels at the same time is great and good for business!... Returning to Eldoret after 4 months, greeted by a sparkling Sirikwa.Visited months ago and it was disastrous.Needless to say,a transformation is under way.New owners are renovating and refurbishing the hotel in stages. The clean freshly painted facade feels fresh and invigorating. The suites have been renovated and are quite superb. The grotty swimming has been rebuilt and is now a sparkling blue oasis. The lounge... I did not stay at this hotel so I can't comment on the conditions of the rooms. But I did have dinner at the pool bar on the huge outdoor patio. They did have a hamburger which is rare for Eldoret. The hotel lobby appeared clean and the security was clearly visible. I envision enjoying more meals on the patio... More

i stayed here on my first visit to Eldoret and was so disappointed. Threadbare carpet, old bedding, dull corridors. Right from the reception, nothing makes you want to stay there. The breakfast could be better. Overall the whole place needs a thorough facelift.
