That may be nicest thing about this hotel. Rooms are very basic. Although they advertise wifi availability, it pretty much does not work. Hot water lasts only for a few minutes, even if you have the hot water heater on for an hour. There is no a/c but there is a fan. I didn't leave the windows open at night... More

The suite was clean and quite smart and spacious . It was very good value at USD 50/night for B&B . No a/c though it was cool in the evening and there was a fan . The food was ok but you should not be in a hurry . Staff were friendly and helpful . There's a nice terrace bar... More

I did not stay at the hotel but i had my dinner and hanged out at the bar at this hotel. The food was superb and the service was great. Enjoyed the night when there was an event and watched traditional dancers entertain guest. I also had a chance to view the single rooms and they are spacious and comfortable.... More

This is a nice little guest house on the hill overlooking Lake Victoria, the rooms are basic but comfortable. Food is good although they need to work on their breakfasts and speed up the service a little. Staff are friendly and helpful but have not had much training and with a little tweaking (eg teach them how to make tea)... More

The Kolping Hotel and Conference Centre is beautifully situated on a hillside overlooking Lake Victoria. It is built to a high standard and the rooms are spacious. Many have balconies overlooking the garden and the lake below. Those in the furthest block (highest up the hill) have Wi-Fi. Staff are friendly and efficient. The new Manager is determined to make... I enjoyed my stay. So beautiful. Remember to carry a sweater or light jacket as there are pretty strong breezes. Good food. Quickly learned to stick to the local cuisine. Whatever you do, DO NOT order the lollipop chicken! I would definitely go back to the Kolping Hotel.

This hotel has an amazing view of the Bukoba bay. We witnessed some spectacular sunsets from our balcony! The restaurant is quite good and has a lot on offer, probably also because many of the middle-class locals or businessmen who travel through dine here. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. We met the manager/owner who was very nice to... More

The Reception is good and the meals that are prepared by professional chefs. There Restaurant is poorly designed, especially the ceiling that was poorly placed. The bird's droppings from above sounds a total menace to the Guests.I could not imagine some pieces of wood falling into my wine! The service team are good even though they lack some service techniques.
