The island of Murano, just a short ferry trip from Venice proper is a picturesque place to stay away from the tourists and hustle. The inn is simply but beautifully finished and the staff are friendly and helpful. I could not speak highly enough of Murano Inn. Wake early in the morning to fog and fishermen and spend your day... We stayed in one of the balcony rooms for 4 nights, as this was all that was available for the whole stay. The view onto the canal was stunning, and the room delightful, although what really made the stay was Ceasar. He was was extremely helpful throughout and nothing seemed too much trouble. He gave us very useful advice on... More

If you are looking for a peacefully quiet hotel, with a luxuriously appointed room overlooking a canal, and without the hustle and bustle of Venice itself, then we recommend Murano Palace. Cesare is an excellent host and very helpful with everything - from explicit directions on how to get from the airport (and where to park a car close to... More

My husband organised a surprise trip to Murano/Venice for our wedding anniversary, and I could not have wished for a better break. Cesare, is a real gem of a host, and nothing is too much trouble. Cesare made our stay of 7 nights with him, a home from home. The room was perfect, with a beautiful, peaceful view of the... More

The perfect break... Away from the tourist crowds of Venice, and still close enough to visit daily... Tranquil, friendly & culturally rich. Murano is my first choice when visiting this part of Italy... & no where better to stay than Murano Place! Thank you for a unforgettable week Cesare & Donatella & making sure that I was always ok... I stayed at the Murano Palace with my boyfriend for 3 nights. I decided to book the hotel after reading the excellent reviews on TA, and thankfully I was not disappointed! The island of Murano is beautiful and so easy to get to the centre of Venice (8 minute boat bus journey) FYI- there is a 24 hour boat bus... More

If visiting Murano I recommend staying here. The prices are fair and Caesar the owner is friendly and very helpful with where to go and how to get there. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Right outside the doorstep is the central canal of Murano and all the shops and restaurants you could ever want. Famous for Glass art... More

My husband and I recently visited Murano on our honeymoon after being married in Italy. I am so glad we decided to stay at Murano Palace. The rooms are gorgeous and the views overlooking the canal are magical. I was nervous about staying in Murano initially as I was worried it would be too far from Venice. However, we both... More

Traveling with my young daughter, we elected to stay in the Murano Palace instead of Venice. It was a fantastic choice for us! The owner took such an interest an helped so much with our plans, etc that taking the boats back and forth became a non-issue. If you are looking for personal, family friendly service, this Inn is a... More

Just got back from 3 night stay. Caesar was away but Francesca looked after us brilliantly. Friendly, informative and prepared great breakfast. We were offered an upgrade to canal facing room but we decided to stay in smaller room as it had a balcony. It faced a wall but got the sun in the morning and was really nice to... More
