I was part of a family group that had an 80th birthday here. The staff were great and the setting lovely, but the reason we were there was the food not the flowers and this was a big disappointment and expensive. A steak is £29, my duck was £22 and came with - nothing - no vegetables, no potato, just... More

We went to Goldstone Hall Hotel for a friend's birthday lunch - a barbecue meal for 30 people. The food provided for veggies was probably some of the best food I've had - several lovely, fresh salads to choose from, and vegetable/tofu skewers with goats cheese. The staff were friendly and attentive - highly recommended. Thank you for a very... More

Beautiful Georgian property with stunning gardens. Take a walk through the garden, which has a wonderful pavilion that is used for weddings, before dining. The hotel lounges are quietly comfortable with pleasant and friendly staff on hand. However the dinner menu is limited, the food is delicious and well presented.. BUT..the portions are very small and what goes on the... More

Our family decided to book here for a Sunday Lunch celebrating a birthday. The Hotel looks lovely and is set in beautiful gardens which you can take a stroll around and is very relaxing (perfect for a wedding). Sunday lunch is quite expensive but as it was a celebration on this occassion we didn't mind, three courses. The Hotel could... More

Attended an evening wedding reception. Beautiful location. Very attentive staff. Bit off the beaten track for people but well worth the drive. Food excellent. Bar prices competitive. Very relaxing atmosphere.

We visited this hotel yesterday for a birthday lunch and a stroll round the gardens as there was an open day. We were welcomed upon arrival and shown into one of their lounges for a drink whilst we perused the menu. Not a large menu, but very nice choices and something for everyone. The decor is unspoilt, original features have... More

Our friends held their wedding here, a very typically english and quaint little venue tucked away in quite beautiful gardens, they aren't wow beautiful but they just contribute to the general atmosphere of the place. The staff were friendly and smiling and very helpful and polite and I think this is what you look for in a venue. The food... More

Another wonderful visit to this gem of a hotel. There is so much to enthuse about. Delightful service, fabulous food, and the garden is simply wonderful. The staff were hugely helpful ensuring that my limited mobility was adapted to.
