Stayed here on business for 4 nights as I wanted somewhere quiet to get a good night's sleep. Beautiful grounds and stunning building in the middle of nowhere, I was welcomed at the door by a very smiley lady and entered the reception area with roaring open fire in reception. Was shown to my standard room which was a perfect... More

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch at Goldstone Hall today for my birthday. A party of four adults and a child with dietary needs, the service was impeccable - with special thanks to Victoria, and the food was first class. Thank you very much indeed, we will be back again soon.

We visited Goldstone Hall on a Saturday evening before Christmas. Good points first: The foods was excellent! Each course was not only beautiful to look at , attention to detail was outstanding and every course was delicious! Bad points: No atmosphere, while piped music could be annoying, couldn't there perhaps someone playing a piano? Anything to lighten the mood. The... More

Really enjoyed our stay here at this gorgeous hotel in the countryside. Attended a Xmas party here and the food was outstanding! The hosts are welcoming and the staff are helpful. The breakfast was lovely and the room was stunning! Beautiful big bed, large walk in shower and a bath big enough for two! Nice touches such as homemade biscuits,... More

We went here for an evening meal for my husband's birthday. I was very disappointed as we have wanted to go here for a while. The food was nice and well presented, but the ambiance was non-existent!! It felt more like we were sitting in a library rather than a restaurant. What a shame.

An ideal intimate wedding venue or charming place for a holiday in the country or a short romantic break. What makes this place special enough for me to stay there at every opportunity, even if I arrive close to midnight, and have to press on after breakfast the next morning is the friendly and helpful reception you are guaranteed to... This establishment is well regarded and simply first class. Attention to detail, service and the surroundings are excellent. The food is extremely fresh and tasty and the team are friendly and approachable. The personal service even extends to special requests.

I had my wedding here in August 2015. It was amazing, the staff took care of all our guests really well. The food was outstanding and the day just flowed. We had a small wedding - 60 guests - and it was just the right size for the wedding party. The rooms were spacious, I loved the huge bed and... More
