Visiting family locally we decided to come back here again & opted for their Christmas Fayre menu. The food was delicious, piping hot, fresh & real meat (this seems to be a variety in Market Drayton this Xmas) the staff are attentive & nothing is too much trouble. They are now also serving a local ale which went down a... More

We stayed here for one night, a Saturday. The hotel is small, only a handful of rooms, all are located upstairs with no lift, so not ideal for the more infirm. The room was of an adequate size, lovely comfy bed with loads of pillows. The bathroom was quite small, with a small shower cubicle - I was OK but... More

Called in for lunch with my daughter today (wheelchair user) and the staff were very helpful as always. Great food and good wheelchair access. Worth calling for lunch while in Market Drayton. The place gets busy on the weekend and market day but they always take time with customers, very friendly service.

We booked this hotel on line and that was extremely easy. No problem finding the place with say nav however that's where the first but comes in, there is no parking. This is mentioned but doesn't say how far the parking is. If you've got any mobility problems it could make life difficult. The hotel itself is quaint and querky... More

Very helpful staff and always happy to give us advice and again help us with our bikes. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. Internet is downstairs but because there were large comfortable seats it was no problem. Would stay there again if in the area. Good walks along the canal.

Really lovely friendly hotel, comfortable beds, rooms full of character. Ideally situated near all shops, restaurants and a few bars. Easy to find, warm welcome on arrival. Fresh white linen and towels. Cracking breakfast, I've stayed here now 6 times and have never been disappointed and the smile on the staffs friendly faces always reflects a well run establishment.

I visited the Tudor for a single Friday night stay and it was fab. Staff were friendly, everywhere clean and tidy, room very well kept and breakfast was yummy! Has great period features and couldn't fault it.

3 of us were staying in the North Shropshire area from 18 to 25 August and decided to visit Market Drayton on the Saturday of the 2014 August bank holiday (23 August). At just after 2:30 p.m., we decided to look for somewhere to eat; either a sandwich or an afternoon tea would have satisfied our needs. Just by the... More

Having stayed at this hotel for 1 night whilst on business my review is it was a nice hotel with period features & comfy beds. The meal I chose was nice but nothing special I'm afraid to say, breakfast was better. For the price it's good value for money.
