I unfortunately had a room (room 8) that overlooked the pub next door which was open until 2.00 am - the beer garden closed at about 01.30. There are no staff on the premises late at night so I was unable to change room. I had to find the number of the pub on the internet to call them to... More

We stayed here for three nights. As usual, greeted by a friendly member of staff who welcomed us back and we were in room 2 this time. Lovely big double aspect room with gorgeous fully tiled bathroom and double shower. It was nice and cosy with nice comfy bed and nipping clean, very welcoming and loved the drapes in that... More

We visited the Tudor hotel for lunch with Santa. The staff were very welcoming and we found it easy to book. This was my sons first time meeting Santa and it couldn't of been better. They catered for all the family and the food was superb and excellent value. We have stayed here before in a lovely room with a... More

My friend held the christening here for her daughter. Staff couldn't have done more, all really lovely. Would recommend for every occasion, 3 stars doesn't do it justice. Also my mum had her Xmas lunch here with her book club friends and couldn't fault it.

myself and my partner are currently on annual leave so we thought we'd travel around the Shropshire area taking in all the local attractions and sampling the quaint cafes and restaurants. In previous years we had frequented The Tudor House most often, however I can ensure this will NEVER be happening again! Where have the friendly face behind the bar... More

We stayed here for one night, a Saturday. The hotel is small, only a handful of rooms, all are located upstairs with no lift, so not ideal for the more infirm. The room was of an adequate size, lovely comfy bed with loads of pillows. The bathroom was quite small, with a small shower cubicle - I was OK but... More

Called in for lunch with my daughter today (wheelchair user) and the staff were very helpful as always. Great food and good wheelchair access. Worth calling for lunch while in Market Drayton. The place gets busy on the weekend and market day but they always take time with customers, very friendly service.

We booked this hotel on line and that was extremely easy. No problem finding the place with say nav however that's where the first but comes in, there is no parking. This is mentioned but doesn't say how far the parking is. If you've got any mobility problems it could make life difficult. The hotel itself is quaint and querky... More
