We were a family of 4 on holiday and stayed for 4 nights with Benjamin and his staff. We had a family room for 3 and Benjamin added a matress for the 4 th person with bedding at a small cost. We stayed in a smaller orange room and then a silver bigger room which were beautifully decorated with good... More

We decided very late to go for a weekend away, and this was the only place I could find in the region we were looking at that had any availability. In the end, we lucked out, because the lodge was cost effective and we had a good experience. Benjamin and his staff were very friendly. The accommodation was perfect for... More

The lodge is located within the citrus plantations, in very peaceful and beautiful area. It is very close to N7 and the entrance to Cederberg Wilderness Area. No noise from the highway. The host, Benjamin, is very friendly and excellent cook. Perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy the Cederberg hikes followed by peaceful evening and great meal.

Me and two friends stayed at Ukholo lodge one night on our west-coast roadtrip this november. On the upside: nice location, we got to borrow the kitchen and the braai. The room was clean and beautiful with coffee and tea and a private bathroom. The lady helping us was helpful and tried hard to help us witv what we needed.... More

We stopped for a night at UKholo on our journey around the west coast. What a beautiful & unexpected find. Just off the main road between Clan William & Citrusdal, it is easy to get to. The rooms have been done with style & every comfort. We loved getting out of the car and smelling the orange blossoms (early Sept)... More

Difficult to find the turnoff, staff/owner very friendly and helpful. Rooms are stunningly presented but we didn't really enjoy the food. A tightly run ship and hardworking helper Sofie. Bath in the LOVE room was very deep and difficult to get out of. Surrounded by lemon and orange groves, smells delicious. Milo and Coffee (dogs) are just waiting for you... More

We went to Citrusdal for my husband's birthday and the main aim was too relax. Relax we did! Benjamin made us feel welcome from the start and the kids were able to run around and explore on the property. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. The omelet was totally delicious! We did not get a chance to... More

This is not my style, but I have to share this. We booked a room for the night of the 11th of July. When we made the booking we told them that we are only leaving Cape Town at 8pm. They assured us that it's no problem because they are open 24/7. We arrived there before 11pm, everything was locked.... More

I had the most amazing honeymoon at the lodge. Great service, attention to detail, amazing and creative meals and the lodge owner's interaction with his guests was remarkable. It comes highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful place, with the hustle and bustle of life being a distant memory. The surrounding farm workers and their children are also trained... We were received by a very friendly host and taken to our beautifully furnished and very comfortable room. The bath in our room (the "Love" room - all the rooms have happy-themed names such as "Peace" and "Tranquility") was an amazing addition. The breakfast and optional dinners were really good - tasty and interesting combinations. The owner is very friendly... More
