I stayed here with friends for one night midweek. I stayed in a twin room with a separate entrance around the side of the building but the breakfast room can be also be accessed through an internal door in the morning. Although the B&B is on Main Road, we were facing the garden and I heard no traffic noise at... More

A most comfortable modern room with en-suite shower and loo, top breakfast (couldn't finish it!) and extremely friendly owners who made me feel totally welcome and also left me to my own devices. All of this at a very reasonable price and just five/ten minutes walk from Saxmundham.

Just back from a great stay at touchwood. Lovely cosy and comfortable room, great shower, own entrance and a generous and well cooked breakfast, would definitely stay again. Close to the lovely beach at Aldeburgh.

We're are just back from a 4 night stay at this B&B which we've been visiting since 2006. It is an ideal location for our birdwatching on the Suffolk coast. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Good off-road private parking. Very good value. HF & DF

Had a one night stay at Touchwood recently. The B&B is about half a mile out of the town centre but is an easy ten minute walk in. It is in a quiet location on the outskirts of the town and the room faces on to a large garden. The room has its own access from the side of the... More

I have stayed at this B & B about 11 times in the last 3 years, travelling on business and for pleasure and just found this website. I do not normally respond to review Websites but I feel, in the interests of fairness, I should let others know of my experience of staying at Touchwood. Touchwood is my preferred choice... More

We stayed couple of nights at Touchwood and there was no warmth or friendliness. It was clear that the gain of money was the only motivation. The TV (which was supposed to be a selling point according to the advertisising card) was dating from the 70s and so was the keettle (which was leaking profusely) and the rest of the... More

Thank you for your review, though myself and my husband were very much surprised to receive such a negative review. We are a family home offering genuine warmth and friendliness the moment our guests arrive, as you will note from all of our other reviews, and proven by countless returning guests. Our kettles are checked regularly and have never leaked... More

My family and I (comprising a husband and a two year old daughter) stayed at Touchwood during a short break to the Suffolk coast in October 2006. The B&B is ideally located for accessing the beaches and tourist attractions that the Suffolk coast has to offer without paying over the top. Our room was clean, tidy and well equipped with... More
