This is a regular, corporate style hotel. The rooms are comfortable. The pool is great for swimming. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The problem is that the staff cannot communicate in English. The first thing we wanted was a hot shower after several days on a houseboat. There was no hot water. We called. We thought they were sending someone.... More

The only international chain-hotel in the city. I stayed 2 nights at Executive Suite room and there wasn't anything more special than the Deluxe one. The room was ok, clean, but not very spacious. The hot shower was good though. Seemes like the hotel is more suitable for business purpose, not for a leisure one. They have this outdoor swimming... More

Ok place when you get back from jungle. Rooms are sort of ok. They are aged and smell bit cigarette. Shower was very good and lot of warm water. Weird thing that they knocked on the door at 9 p.m. and asked if they can check mini bar. Guy came in and opened minibar and did his calculations and went... More

Hotel is the only real hotel option in Pangklabun. Like most overseas visitors we stayed here for one night after a visit to Tanjing Puting. The hotel is fine for a night. The staff are attentive. The main issue with the hotel is that it is outdated and could do with investment and refurbishment particularly the rooms and pool area.... More

First impression outside is that this is a big, maybe 5 star hotel but inside it falls well short to about the 3 star level. There is a musty smell because of poor air conditioning design - no central ducting system. The quality of building workmanship outside the hotel is inferior. Swimming pool was well maintained and clean; changing rooms... More

We stayed 1 night at this hotel after doing a 3D/2N klotok river tour and thought that we might need to stay at a luxurious hotel after roughing it out on boat for 2 nights. But found out that the river tour wasn't as rough as we expected and once inside the hotel it felt that we were in a... More

Compared to other hotels this really, does not meet up to it 3 stars. Rooms are clean, you have a free wifi. But the spa, seeing the uninterested face of the girls when I asked for a treatment, no I changed my mind instantly. Check in at reception went slow, receptionist could hardly speak English, so I had to use... More

Staying away from home on business purposes during peak festive holiday travels, put us on limited options. Then opted to stay in closer range to the heart of Pangkalan Bun, yet still giving shade for some enviro trips (to release some turtles, to learn more on orangutans) became unforgettable experience. A night stay extended into two due to considerably yummy... More

After a series of dodgy budget hotels, and a few nights on the river boat, we booked this place for a bit of a treat. It is certainly a LOT better than a budget option, and, as my husband kept saying, "We are in Borneo, you know!" So, given the remote location, we think this was very good. The room... More

The newest hotel in town, clean room and nice. The service was good. Also the breakfast was very good. The minus thing only we can heard someone next door even the sound of TV, and the hotel location to far from town or airport.
