This hotel is very depressing, very boring. In the rooms they use some horrible pungent chemicals to spray the room, and it is very hard to breathe, no to mention the horrible smell. We actually could not stay there as a result and we checked out the same day as we checked in.

It's a 3 star hotel, so you know where is you expectation. For my 5 days business trip to pangkalan bun this hotel was the one of the best in town. Cozy lobby and nice breakfast. The room quite small forn standard but you still have chair and desk. Not much to say this hotel got all 3 stars facilities.

Stayed here on our way into the rainforest by boat and again when leaving. I would say it was just a 3 star by international standards and I'm sure it's the best choice in Pangkalan Bun. Keep in mind as far tourism goes this really is a jumping off point for the national park - it is not a tourist... More

It's just a "nothing special" hotel in provincial town. Hotel is located far away from the "town", if I can use such a word in case of Pangkalan Bun ;) You have to walk around 45 min to reach main crossroads ... But it isn't worth at all, because there is nothing to see. Hotel restaurant doesn't encouraging to eat... More

Lobby area fine. Rooms a bit run down but it is still the best place in town. The mosque nearby starts at 4 am and is vert loud. If You don't need to get up for prayers ask for a back facing room. Beer is expensive in the lobby, same as Europe. People and all staff hospitable and friendly.

This is a regular, corporate style hotel. The rooms are comfortable. The pool is great for swimming. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The problem is that the staff cannot communicate in English. The first thing we wanted was a hot shower after several days on a houseboat. There was no hot water. We called. We thought they were sending someone.... More

The only international chain-hotel in the city. I stayed 2 nights at Executive Suite room and there wasn't anything more special than the Deluxe one. The room was ok, clean, but not very spacious. The hot shower was good though. Seemes like the hotel is more suitable for business purpose, not for a leisure one. They have this outdoor swimming... More

Ok place when you get back from jungle. Rooms are sort of ok. They are aged and smell bit cigarette. Shower was very good and lot of warm water. Weird thing that they knocked on the door at 9 p.m. and asked if they can check mini bar. Guy came in and opened minibar and did his calculations and went... More

Hotel is the only real hotel option in Pangklabun. Like most overseas visitors we stayed here for one night after a visit to Tanjing Puting. The hotel is fine for a night. The staff are attentive. The main issue with the hotel is that it is outdated and could do with investment and refurbishment particularly the rooms and pool area.... More
