We stayed for one night before an 11 day diving liveaboard trip from Sorong Harbor through the Raja Ampat. The staff were pleasant but did not speak much English and it would have been extremely difficult to communicate if not for my husbands basic Indonesian. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked fine... More

We stayed at the Luxio Hotel and Resort in December 2014 for one night before going on a liveaboard dive boat in Raja Ampat. The hotel reminded me of one's in Southern California. It consisted of many detached bungalows and it wasn't more than a few years old. The rooms were spacious and well air conditioned and the landscaping was... More

We came here after a 3 week voyage on a Phinisi Schooner, so this was a very welcome and needed rest before departing for Bali. Nice comfortable rooms. Free airport shuttle. Food was good. The fried banana dessert was excellent. Cold Bintang. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Such nice people! There is an Emu living beside the hotel... More

We stayed here three times it was so enjoyable. They picked us up & dropped us off (no charge). The manager, the staff, everyone is very nice and helpful. The food was very good and the grounds are so well kept with orchids and water ponds and beautiful tropical vegetation that it is a pleasure to walk around. We didn't... More

I was happy to stay at this hotel. It is more like a series of small villas each with their own name after a flower and a separate attached car port. Ours was Aglonema and located 200 meters from the lobby. It is a good walk and the hotel does provide an on call van. There is a security gate... More

I was on a business trip on Sorong. I stayed here for 20days or more. The room cleanliness is okay. The shower room isnot maintaned very well. I regularly had the food in the restaurant. The best one would be sop buntut. Fried rice, fried noodle soup noodle is okay. It is a nice place to stay. The employee is... More

Luxio hotel concept is like a bungalow so each room is actually one single house, complete with garage and small garden alike. There are two type of room. The older room is located nearer to the reception, and the newer room is located bit far. Never try the old room, but the new room is quite good. The room is... More

We stayed 1night here to catch up on some sleep before transferring to Raja Ampat. For this purpose it was good, we arrived on the early flight having flown overnight and they let us have breakfast and then check in at 9am which was a real bonus. Overall the place was fine. It was clean, quiet and the bed was... More

My wife and I stayed one night at the luxio hotel in Sorong. We needed an overnight to connect our flight from Manado with our resort boat pickup the next day. Dicey reviews of the hotels closer to town / docks made us seek better accommodation at the luxio which appear to be decent. Unfortunately we did not get off... More
