I was on a business trip on Sorong. I stayed here for 20days or more. The room cleanliness is okay. The shower room isnot maintaned very well. I regularly had the food in the restaurant. The best one would be sop buntut. Fried rice, fried noodle soup noodle is okay. It is a nice place to stay. The employee is... More

Sorong is the gate to famous islands Raja Ampat. We stayed 1 night before our trip to Raja Ampat. The room is spacious, clean and well provided with basic facilities. Hotel staffs are helpfu and friendly.

Luxio hotel concept is like a bungalow so each room is actually one single house, complete with garage and small garden alike. There are two type of room. The older room is located nearer to the reception, and the newer room is located bit far. Never try the old room, but the new room is quite good. The room is... More

We stayed 1night here to catch up on some sleep before transferring to Raja Ampat. For this purpose it was good, we arrived on the early flight having flown overnight and they let us have breakfast and then check in at 9am which was a real bonus. Overall the place was fine. It was clean, quiet and the bed was... More

My wife and I stayed one night at the luxio hotel in Sorong. We needed an overnight to connect our flight from Manado with our resort boat pickup the next day. Dicey reviews of the hotels closer to town / docks made us seek better accommodation at the luxio which appear to be decent. Unfortunately we did not get off... More

We travelled with Express air which i booked online in the UK and paid using my uk credit card. I was a little worried as the online booking system outside of Indonesia had only just been introduced, but i have to say everything went smoothly the flights were on time and luggage arrived on both the outward and return journey.... Sorong does not really have a center: it is one long strip from the coast inland. The Luxio is located on the furthest point of this strip inland: close to the airport, but far from anything else. The rooms are clean, have airco and a safe, a big bathroom and good beds, but feel a bit too lived in: some... More

I stayed a night in Sorong 'twixt Manado and Raja Ampat. I didn't realize the Luxio offers free transport to/from the Sorong airport so paid for a taxi. This hotel is on a very deep lot with nice garden about 10 minutes by vehicle (car or yellow Mikrolet (small public van-bus or bemo or petepete) from the Airport which is... More

Like most people, we were only in Sorong during transit to Raja Ampat for a diving trip. The luxio was 20 minutes from the airport, however our room was not very clean, it was way out of town, and was quite noisy at night. The staff while friendly, did not speak much English. Other hotels closer into town would be... More

Being located near airport, The Luxio is a good choice for transiting although it's not near downtown whatsoever. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. It has a separated living room and a bedroom, each has a TV and aircon. The bathroom is large and modern, but could've been cleaner. I was quite disappointed during my stay here because it... More
