What a lovely surprise to find this perfect accommodation away from the busy coastline around Palermo. Beautiful colourful room, excellent views over harbour, welcoming host, perfect setting. The entrance is a bit tricky to find but well-worth persisting - ask at the harbour. Highly recommended!

We had a great room with a large balcony with a superb sea view. We could see the sunrise from our bed. :) The room was very colorful and the spectacular antique furniture had a very good style. Air condition and Wi-Fi worked as expected, the room was cleaned every day and we also got two bottles of mineral water... More

We stayed here on the last night of a three week trip around Sicily - a great end to the holiday because of the amazing view of the working fishing port from the balcony. The owner is particularly welcoming and recommended two local restaurants - excellent seafood as you might expect in this location. Despite being right on the harbour... More

perfectly situated at the harbor of Santa Flavia. Clean, nice rooms and perfect very friendly service! The rooms are quite big and very well equipped. One small family can sleep in one room. I definitely will come again!

Stefano our host was very charming, accommodating and welcoming ... We changed our nights accomodation due to a mix up without problem which was appreciated..room was spotless and clean however the room we were given had a sofa bed made up for the children which sunk down with a mattress I swear was about 100 years old, neither the children... After arriving the hectic Palermo for a father son get away my father and I decided to look for somewhere a bit off the beaten track with a slower way of life. Porticello did not disappoint. A very small fishing town with fantastic seafood at great value this place is a gem. Stenopus greco is owned by Stefano who was... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our trip through Sicily. It proved to be an excellent choice. The owner even picked us up from the train station which was a real bonus. He gave us a well furnished room with a beautiful view over the harbour and coast and even suggested two restaurants which proved to... More

On the bright side: Fantastic sea view from Annamaria room. Good size room. Good value for money. On the not-so-bright side: Shower worn out and way too small even for standard size people. Moody proprietor. You do not see him though (or anybody else) unless you ring his home door bell. Full amount cashed from guarantee credit card a month... More

I may regret writing this review as I am rather hoping the secret of the wonderful "Stenopus Greco" never gets out - thus ensuring I can guarantee a room when I next visit. Arrived in November to be greeted by friendly host who explained that I was the only resident at the hotel and as such was in sole charge... More

We stayed here one night with friends on the way to Cefalu and actually wished we'd had more time. Our room looked straight out onto the harbour and in the morning the sun came up out of the sea, shining right into our faces as we lay in bed. Simple, characterful rooms painted in vibrant primary colours which really suit... More
