We stayed in this traditional guesthouse for one night during the Iranian New Year. We love Iranian traditional houses, which are in many places renovated and turned into attractive guesthouses with a courtyard which is usually like a small oasis away from noisy streets. The reason for choosing it was its convenient location near the main attractive sights and museums... More

The title of the review says it all really. The courtyard is very beautiful and inviting. The restaurant serves some of the best food in the area. The staff is very friendly. Wifi is both in-room and in the courtyard (not very common for guest houses in Iran, believe me!). You can't pirouette in the bedrooms, but the bathrooms are... More

This is one of the beautiful historic houses you can stay in throughout Iran. The courtyard is beautiful, replete with pomegranate trees, daybeds, water feature and twittering birds. If you don't manage to make it out the heavy doors to check out the nearby sights, you could lounge about all day in comfort. The rooms are unique and a mad... More

Hotel seemed overall appealing and welcoming at a first sight. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about our room, despite the tiny glass works over the doors and windows. One step inside was sufficient to feel the strong sewage smell coming out from the bathroom. Moreover, the room quickly turned out to be wide enough to make clear that the heating system... More

we couldn't believe what we saw - and experienced over the next few days. the house is one of those traditional mansions, the people running the hotel are an extremely friendly bunch, the place oozes comfort and style. breakfast is included and dinner is available. the bathrooms are spotless and we very seldom had a room more comfortable than the... We stayed in this hotel for one night at the end of our trip in Iran. I should say this was one of the best places we stayed: clean, properly renovated, very welcome staff, good breakfast, good heated (was important in November). For dinner we ordered Kuku , Persian dish flavored with some combination of herbs and leafy vegetables and... More

We stayed for two nights in Eshan and i think it was the only place where the rooms were cold.We had a very big room but the heaters were not sufficient for its size. Most important, there were huge gaps between the doors and the wall because they hadn't been maintened properly. Some glass on the windows were also broken.Other than that, the room... The Ehsan House is one of the best and nicest accommodation options I enjoyed in Iran. Actually, while in Kashan, I had also a look at other traditional houses which function as hotels and, honestly, I still prefer the Ehsan House. First of all its location is very central and the bazaar and other tourist attractions are within walking distance... More

A pleasant, clean and comfortable old mansion that has been converted into a guest house, with an attractive courtyard where you can sit and drink tea by the fountain. The primary drawback is the exceptionally chaotic and limited kitchen: It’s described as ‘family style‘ which is a nice way of saying that it’s not professionally managed and has a cook... More
