Waking up in the morning of monkeys runnning on your rooftop. At night you hear all kind of jungle noises. Lovely place, great staff and a perfect stay for a jungle adventure. The guide told us: " If you're lucky, you'll encounter a Orang Utan!" I think we were very very lucky, as we saw more than 10 Orang Utans!... More

Set on the edge of the Sumatran jungle and among a beautiful and peaceful eco-farm this place is peacefulness defined. The surrounding Nature and trail systems are awesome, but even more awesome are the beautiful people who make your trip special. Everyone at the hotel greets you with a smile and friendly hello and will do anything to make your... More

Overall we had a pleasant stay but a bit more upkeep to the facilities as well as a few improvements required to really make this a great hotel. Please find a detailed summary below Positives: mosquito nets provided, good food at restaurant, nice setting in the jungle overlooking the river Negatives: overall rundown feel to the rooms, hot rooms as... We stayed for 2 nights, the room was great but there was only 1 wall mounted fan which was too far from the bed to make a difference. We asked for another one but didn't get it. Everything else was great, the setting was lovely as was the food and staff. We did a 5 hour jungle trek followed by... More

To reach this Lodge you need to cross a bridge over the river. The hotel is fine, rooms are big and ok. It is pretty noisy because of al the monkeys. No flushing toilets and no hot water. The bathroom is partly outside of your lodge, so sometimes that means you are not 'alone' when you use the toilet or... More

Really enjoyed to stay at the ecolodge. Beside of the confortable lodges and tasty food there is one major plus for this place: All the money they earn goes straight to orangutan-projects! Furthermore they educate the local communities about the ecosystem. Supporting good things while having a good time - this is how tourism should be.

Stayed for 2nights in the Orangutan room which was tastefully done with an "al fresco" bathroom. There was only a fan and cold water, but that's the "nature"part, I guess. The lodge is located on the other side of a river which has to be crossed on a suspension bridge. From the Lodge one can hire a guide for jungle... More

We spent 3 nights here and for basic accommodation it was very good. We stayed in the Orangutan Rooms (highly recommend and worth the extra few $) and the room was large and spacious, had a nice big bed, and had an outdoor bathroom with flushing toilet and shower (cold water). There was also a ceiling fan which was needed.... More

Stayed here with my family in two of the cheapest Butterfly rooms. Basic, not very attractive on the inside, but nice small terrace outside. Food was OK, grounds kept nicely. This is a big place meant for larger groups, but for smaller groups it's adequate too. There are more idyllic options along the river, but this was not bad.

Stayed here for 2 nights. For an eco lodge it is very luxurious and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and full of jungle noises although they are only on the outskirts. The room we had in the Orang utan block was really comfortable with a mosquito net provided. The bathroom was outside with a little garden. We were told not to... More
