We recently stayed here for one night while visiting Emeishan. The room we booked was among the high end of their rooms, yet it was still average. We requested a non-smoking room, and upon checking in, I overheard the staff instructing someone to do a de-smoking treatment of the room. Upon entering our room, I noticed the windows were open,... Background: As part of a 3-week circle tour of China, our itinerary included a few night's stay in Emeishan and Mt. Emei. PROS: Suprisingly enough, the local bus station is just next door and mere steps from the hotel. So that's good for travel and transfers. Having a natural hot spring on site doesn't hurt either, especially after a long... More

Spent one weekend here for Emeishan Trip. The hotel location is just next to the bus station, only 1 minute walk away. It is absolutely amazing after the 3 hours drive from Chengdu. The hotel is very big, it seems like that it merged 2 hotels. The entrance is hard to find, you have to walk through the rooms in... More

We were traveling in Sichuan and Hunan provinces for 2 weeks. This hotel was by far the worst, The lobby looks nice; nobody in the staff speaks English, so it was hard to communicate; they said they don't have non smoking rooms. So, the room had a very strong tobacco odor; the windows open into a nice garden, but we... More

The lobby is OK. Breakfast and dinner are so-so. Transportation to Emeishan is nearby and very convenient. Hallway is dark and dirty. Room space is OK, but the carpet is old and dirty. Our non-smoking room had a heavy smoking, it was so strong, once I entered the room, I could not breath. Even the front desk came in for... More

It seemed like the best of a bad lot and we were not surprised as the beds were like planks and no-one could speak English. More like a 2 star than a 4 star. The hot springs were not part of the hotel but a separate complex with a hefty entrance fee.

Definitely pricey for what we received, but there aren't many options in Emeishan that will meet international standards. The hard bed was the worse - even using China's standards. It was pretty much a box spring with covers over it, we could feel the springs underneath us. We were in a non-smoking room, but unfortunately smoke still seeped into our... More
