We recently stayed at Silonque Bush Estate while touring the KNP. The estate consists of houses that have been built on a reserve next to KNP fence. We stayed in a one bedroom house that had small kitchen (with cutlery and crockery), TV (DSTV) and wifi (it was great getting away from cellphone reception). Units are serviced as well. As... More

Nice cottages to stay with a variety of wild animals on the area. Parkground is situated nearby Phalaborwa with lots of facilities to dine. No restaurant on the area, but facilities available to organize by your own including braai.

Enjoy nature with the best amenities one could wish. The accommodation is very spacious and very comfortable. Can not wait to come back. The proximity to nature was surprising. Very quiet. Great reception! Friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff!

Very nice accommodation and friendly hosts. The best of all the places I have stayed in, in Phalaborwa. Very clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay and will be staying here again in future.

We stayed in a two bedroom cottage on the Silonque Bush Estate during our trip through Kruger. The estate is quite far away from the Phalaborwa gate, but almost a small national park itself. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, especially the pool area was great. The cottage itself was very spacious and clean and equipped with everything... More

Dear Martin, Thanks for your great review! It was very nice having you and your family here. We were so relieved that we managed to help your mother, it is not good for your holiday-feeling to worry! I realise that you didn’t have a house with mosquito nets around the beds. We have good news about the mosquito nets, besides... More

What a fabulous 6 nights! The hosts Pascal and Laura were very accommodating to our needs. The house itself was huge, and exceeded our needs. Impala, waterbuck and warthogs roam freely, and then there are also the elephants that came to say goodbye the night prior to us leaving! The cleaning staff were also amazing, and were always willing to go... More

We chose Silonque mainly due to the convenient location as it is so close to the Phalaborwa gate of Kruger park. Already before arrival we had a very pleasant email conversation which meant our safari was booked, breakfast was sorted, we had exact directions, etc before we got there. upon arrival on the estate we immediately saw impalas, which was... Wonderful place in the middle of the bush: we stayed a couple of days in a very welcoming house for the 2 of us, with a nice view over a big pond where animals where coming to drink water. Thanks to Laura and Pascal, the managers of the estate, we spent a great time. Definitely recommended !

Dear Nico, thanks for your time to write a review. The pond which you saw is very full now. After the heavy rainfall of last weeks we are sure the pond doesn't dry out this winter. Great news for the animals here! Regards Pascal and Laura More

After the short flight from Joburb I was met by Laura the estate manager. This was the beginning of relaxing weekend. The estate borders Kruger with private houses built in Classic African thatched style. Animals roam the estate and elephant footprints were at my doorstep. I shared breakfast this morning with a family of warthogs. This is superb value and... More

Too bad we couldn't enjoy more because we had the days full @kruger park. But our house was amazing, very comfortable and big. It had a wonderful view. The satf is friendly and Laura and Pascal are very welcoming! We saw an elephant and some boars just nex to our house which made our stay even more special!
