We spent two nights in Sefapane Main Lodge, in one of the bushvilla's. We had a great time! We booked the River Safari which was very pleasant with stunning views of the Olifants River. I also booked myself for a 35km mountainbike ride in Kruger. It was just me and two rangers, a great experience. It does require some level... More

We stayed at Sefapane for 1 night straight after flying in from London. After reading previous reviews, I'd requested a quiet location and our unit was well away from any road noise - nor was there any noise from the large corporate group who were staying and partying that night! We'd booked a 6 sleeper but our accommodation - more... More

We had a fantastic stay in one of the big houses, Ratel, close to the estate pool and overlooking the small dam. At reception you'll find another pool with a poolbar. Safaris were excellent, gonfor the bushbraai in the evening for sure, small safari drive with drinks and snacks ending with a great braai at Olifantsriver! Enjoyed it very much... More

This lodge is really nice. We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious hut. Very clean and beautiful lodge. Even better is the food. It was really hard to choose the right things from the menu, because food was so good (and we only stayed for 3 days, so we had to pick some things). It's really close to the... More

We had a lovely two day stay at Sefapane. Very reminiscent of actually being in a Kruger Camp. We had a cosy chalet facing one of the small dams on the property - it was peaceful, with many shady trees and beautiful gardens. Abundant birdlife and we were told there are also pythons to see in the dam (we did not... More

We had rented a cottage sleeping 8 people on the grounds of Sefapane Lodge in Phalaborwa. The surroundings are lush and green. There was daily housekeeping provided. There are two swimming pools though it was too cold to swim when we were there. The reception staff was very friendly. However, on the night before we checked out, there was a... More

We took our 1 year old away for the long weekend, it was so special to see her reaction towards the animals in Kruger and the drive at Sefapane River Lodge. The location is perfect being so close to Kruger but then to come back to a luxury room, cocktails by the pool, walk around the beautiful garden and dinner... More

We did not stay at the main lodge, but went to the River Lodge. It was our favorite of 8 places we stayed in the Kruger area. It is small and intimate, private, with just 5 rondavels. The site overlooks the Olifants River, so there is always something to watch. Hippos lounge, crocodiles, elephants and even Springhares. The staff are... More

The outstanding feature of Sefapane, both the Main Lodge and the River Lodge, was the friendliness and willingness to help of the staff, even when this was a little confused. The meals were very good and the service attentive. We had a wonderful guide at the River Lodge, whose love and knowledge of the bush and all its wildlife were... More
