I spend every summer in Sweden, which always includes a day-trip to Sandhamn, on Sandön, one of the prettiest islands. The island has always been popular with the yachting set and the hotel was once home to the Royal Swedish Yacht Club. My friends and I booked two nights, taking the one-hour ferry trip from Stavsnäs. We drove to Stavsnäs... More

The hotel is located in the heart of Sandhamn (I mean, it is only 3 blocks long). The island is well-worth a visit, but this hotel is definitely not. It bills itself as being a 4-star resort, but falls sadly, about two stars short. The pool closes early, mainly because it is not actually the hotel's pool. The bar, shockingly... More

A very nice, clean hotel within steps from the ferry. Several small stores located close by. Very picturesque setting. This hotel had great staff, great breakfast and a wonderful location. They speak excellent English and are very welcoming. I wish I could have stayed longer. Looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Sandamn.

Went there on a social event concluding a major project. It was off season , so not so crowded as to be expected during summer. But what a nice place. The restaurant served steamed cod, that was simply amazing. The best plate I have had for a very long time. Highly recommended.

Early spring weekend whit my girlfriend. Kind and very polite staff at the hotel. Clean rooms whit nice beds. The food was excellent at the restaurant, and the breakfast as well. Easy to walk and discover beach and other places on the island.

Very charming old hotel outside Stockholm in the fantastic archipelago. Staff very friendly and nice. Lots of space to sit down and relax. They have spa, sauna and you can quickly dip your self in the ocean. Rooms quite small but fresh. Good beds. Very good breakfast.

We spent a weekend (one night) on this beautiful island in the archepelago of Stockholm. The staff at the Seglarhotell was fantasic and so was everything at the hotel. We had a very nice room with a view over the small marina. The food was super. We had the Fällmans Julbord. We were lucky to have two sunny decemberdays and... More

Its ok. The walls are thin, you can hear EVERYTHING happening outside, if you want to take a nap in the middle of the day - forget about it. You can hear all of the maintenance crew banging and driving around. The service is not very warm, but they are friendly once you engage in a conversation. The rooms are... More

Sandhamn is a beautiful island and the location of the hotel is excellent. But this hotel from the '80:ies needs som updating. Long, very dark, corridors withouth ventilation and a strange smell. The conference facilities were adequate but the room we had felt very "bare" with nothing extra except the conference table and the chairs. The hotel room I had... More

We had three nights in the 4 bed apartment just adjacent to the main building. We couldn't have been happier! They have been refreshed with paint and style and look very cosy inside. If you want to sit outside the apartment there are some outdoor furniture but no view so it wasn't so good. There is one double bedroom, a kitchenette... More
