Charming host, wonderful accommodations, lovely breakfast, beautiful grounds and a fabulous restaurant. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning. Our room was beautiful. We had cocktails on the terrace. Dinner in the restaurant, L'Orangerie, was fabulous. The whole stay was just perfect.

We had a lovely time at this chateau-turned-boutique hotel. With plenty of on-site parking, its easily accessed location, only a few kilometers from Amboise, was easy to find thanks to ample signage. The chateau offered everything I had hoped; beautiful antique furnishings, stained glass windows, friendly service, and of course cleanliness. We were greeted at the front door by Laur... More

Our group of six family members stayed two nights at Chateau de Pray in mid-April, and it was marvelous. We had a wonderful time there, and the location in the Loire valley was ideal. We found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were generously sized, and the bathrooms updated. Breakfast was lovely. Our favorite part... More

Briefly, I'd like to address the issue: I loved the hotel but the service at check out was a little uncomfortable just to say the least. The place is great! Nice rooms, history, setting, location, lovely bathrooms, incredible view, even a good breakfast. Nice quality of sleep. Almost spotless I would say. My only issue was that before check out,... We ended up booking this Chateau because where we were going to stay originally could not accommodate a child (my 11 year old godson, who decided to come last minute). Location: in the outskirts of Amboise, 150 meters from the river Loire. Flanked by a quiet access road and a park and farm, both belonging to the chateau. Hotel: a... More

We stayed at this little chateau for four nights last July. I thought I had reviewed it after our return, but apparently not. This is a charming and graceful place. We stayed here at the end of our two and a half week trip to southern France. The Loire valley is a sleepy area (save for the crowds at Chambord).... More

Stayed for 2 days at the chateau, excellent room and grounds. Lovely small chateau with great staff. good location to visit the Loire valley. Had dinner at the restaurant which was excellent both in food and service. The only negative I can say is the breakfast, the food at dinner was great but the breakfast falls short of this.

One of our favourite experiences ever. We received a complimentary guest room upgrade due to availability from the hotel. All staff are superb well trained and very professional and friendly. Excellent organic options for breakfast. The restaurant's dinner experience was amazing! food was great and service impeccable. We'll recommend this property to all our friends, great option for couples.

we stayed two nights with two teen girls and it was very fun. The staff were SO nice. We would get in have a glass of wine before going out to dinner in Amboise. We decided not to try the restaurant with kids as its a big investment but it smelled wonderful. The hotel staff recommended a great restaurant our... More

We only had one night here, which is a shame as it is a gorgeous hotel and the staff were lovely. We had a room upgrade to a bigger room as the hotel wasn't busy (only reason we chose the smaller room was to ensure we had a room in the chateau itself of course). Bed was really comfortable and...
