We booked this hotel online and when it chose this hotel, we where nervous. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a nice couple who where very accommodating. Our room was very simple but SPOTLESS and updated. Way cleaner then any 5 star I've ever stayed in. Within walking distance of the casino, restaurants and Elora. I'd for sure choose... More

A girlfriend and I spent two nights in Elora recently and stayed both nights at The Village Inn. The hotel staff was courteous and professional throughout our stay. The hotel was clean, and clearly the owners have spent time updating the furnishings, carpet and paint throughout the hotel. We needed to bring my dog at the last minute, the hotel... More

We just spent three nights here and it was a great experience. The room was spacious and newly-remodeled, and we were able to walk to downtown pubs and shops, the racetrack, a wonderful country restaurant, and more. We had a great four days exploring Fergus, Elora, and Saint Jacob, and the hotel was a perfect home base location. The AC... More

We booked the Village Inn, Elora for two nights to attend the Fergus Highland Games. First impression of the lobby left me a little concerned as we had to ring a bell for service. However, the room itself was very clean and tidy. The "breakfast included" is a little misleading as it consists of coffee in the front lobby, orange... More

Fantastic location, very easy walk to the village. First room we were given had dirty sheets with holes in and hairs in the bed! We complained and the lady was very rude about our complaints. The second room was at the back upstairs and was much better. Two really comfy chairs in the room and we had such a great... More

Stayed at the Village Inn July 27, 2014 weekend. Enjoyed our stay at the Inn, rooms were renovated, very comfortable beds. Jacuzzi tub, hair dryer and all amenities in room. There was a nice fridge too. The location is fabulous as a nice 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again... More

Unfortunately we were allocated a room still in progress, even though other rooms were free. Basic toiletries , no hairdryer (unhappy wife), poor lighting. Beds were comfy. Friendly reception. Hopefully the room will be brought up to standard of the other reviews.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a 10-minute walk to the village & only a 2-minute walk to Tim Horton’s. The newly renovated rooms added to our peaceful sleep & pleasant awakening to birds singing. The family oriented service was excellent. We would definitely recommend The Village Inn Elora.

From the moment I walled in door, I was greeted with the most courteous man behind counter..Peter...:) I was travelling alone with my little dog, and he was very informative about the area and surrounding attractions. The location couldn't be better!! Minutes away from gorge also, there is a super restaurant 1 min away from motel, as well as casino!!!... More
