Picture perfect surroundings and a wonderful, heart warming lodge. Can anything top that? Add to it wonderful meals, attention to detail and you have the makings of a perfect vacation hideout. Can't wait to return. More

What can you say about a place where you can enjoy the scenic bhimtal lake & the surrounding hills while sitting cozily in your comforter, sipping darjeeling tea and relishing the kebabs made by a chef so good that masterchef india would be pleased to have him!! Soak in the morning sun sitting on their wonderful deck as they serve... More

Beautiful cosy lodge with great service. Loved the peaceful location as compared to crowded hill-stations like nainital. rather than staying in nainital it makes sense to stay here and visit nainital from here. rooms are very tastefully done and the overall fishmerman theme is very nicely executed. loved enjoying the sun on the deck sitting right next to the bhimtal... This was our third stay at this 'hotel' - if I can call it that. I must add the quality of the experience is still the same. The place has a very homey feel and very tastefully decorated, as the title rightly suggests. The food was very good and the staff is very helpful. Its a good idea to break... More

We spent 3 nights there with 2 kids(1 teenager and a 7 year old) and had among our best holidays in the hills. While Bhimtal is nice, the real destination is the hotel itself. It was very cosy and really felt like a home away from home! The food was one of the highlights of the trip-it was simple yet... More

We stayed at The Fishermen's Lodge for 3 nights. Why this place? Because of the view! The hotel is located right next to the lake and you can literally see the lake from your bed! The cute lil balcony also provides a nice view of the lake. Those of you that like lakeside hotels, you should go here, not Nainital... More
