After travelling the 2nd time through India for 20 days, my wife and me spent 2 nights in Bandhavgarhs „Mahua Kothi Cottage“. The "TAJ" name is their label: in 2 words: Just wonderful! Unfortunately we spent only 2 nights in this paradise where all the staff is reading your wishes from your eyes. Everybody totally helpful and highly friendly. You... More

It's hard to believe that you are in the jungle when you stay at this lodge. The room was outstanding and the setting outstanding. The staff could not do more. The food served at the lodge was wonderful and fresh

Location- beautifully located surrounding jungle and the premise itself looks like jungle. The entrance surrounded by bushes, it takes 5 min to reach the hotel premise crossing rough exciting terrain. Rooms- any amount of praise will be less. You have to be there to feel it. Decently sized wooden tents with glass roof, highly comfortable and spacious wash room with... More

Mahua Kothi Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge was truly a great place to stay. We were here with a group of friends to see the wild tigers. Our room was very comfortable. The king-size bed was great. Loved having two sinks in the room and the shower with the large shower head was fantastic. The separate bathtub was also very nice for... More

After travelling a great distance on unbelievably rough and bumpy roads arriving at the Mahua Kothi and seeing the wonderful welcoming smiles of the staff was a great relief. We were offered nice cold drinks and face towel. After a short briefing about the place we were escorted to our cottage to freshen up before lunch which was serve out... More

Banjaar Tola is a luxury mud-brick game lodge located on the outskirts of Bandhavgarh national park in India. The property is made up of a pool area, office/library building, a main lodge and then 20 or so mud-brick luxury cabanas spread out over the property. The first note is that to get to these camps long transfers by car are... More

I just got back from Mahua Kothi and had a really wonderful experience. Everyone was incredibly helpful and the hospitality was unbelievable. I traveled alone and was a little nervous at first but Taj safaris made the experience completely comfortable. They arranged a driver (Mr. Jay) who picked me up from the airport at Jabalpur in a very comfortable car... More

Beautiful, luxurious resort int he middle of the jungle. Excellent accomodation called the kutiyas or mud huts. Amazing hospitality with a personal butler who looks after your every need. Get woken up at 4.45am with coffee and biscuits, start your morning safari at 5.30am, breakfast in the jungle at 7.30/8am, another cooked breakfast when you get back to the lodge... More

In short, we can't wait to return. The kutiya was perfect in every way, just right for the two of us. Clean, comfortable, cool and luxurious in and out. The lodge dining was excellent, but we also had a few meals in our room and our own private courtyard. Ramayan was awesome, we arrived feeling a bit under the weather... More

Taj - Mahua Kothi is one of the most exotic resorts I've visited of late. Tucked neatly in the BandhavGarh jungle the sprawling property is frequented by wild animals like deer and wild boar. The independent cottages are exceptionally designed and tastefully furnished. The mud walls give the exact feeling of staying in a village. Staffs are very courteous and... More
