We stayed here for a week and what an experience it was. Plenty of tiger sightings, great food, a rustic but well appointed resort and stories around the campfire at night. Raj's instinctive knowledge of where the tigers might be comes from spending most of his time there. He knows the trails, watering holes, paw marks & movement patterns of... More

We had been meaning to visit Bhandhavgarh for some time.I read the reviews and chose to go for this hotel. One more reason was that I had seen a documentary on National Geographic in which the owner of the resort Mr. Rajvardhan Sharma was featured. If you are looking for the best knowledge and guaranteed tiger sighting (your luck does... More

We stayed 3 nights in May 2014. We booked the resort through a local travel agent. It was a bad experience for us. The staff was non cooperative and rude. We ordered a plate of pakoras and maggi for our children at 6.30 pm after coming back from our evening safari. The order was not served even at 7.30. On... More

I went to bandhavgarh with friends in June 3rd week, the trip turned out to be good as we were able to spot a tigress. We reached the resort around 3:30pm and our safari was supposed to start at around 4:00pm. Our lunch was kept ready and the staff even called us in between to confirm our time, and offered... More

I stayed at the Nature Herige Lodge.I liked the wooden finish of the hotel and the fact that there were birds around. The rooms were nice and clean. The food was way too good.If you wake up at night, you will hear some wildlife outside your room.Reception staff is polite, the guards are friendly, and the restaurant staff is very attentive. The books in the library... Very much a destination for local tourists, but nonetheless I enjoyed our stay here. We had come to see the tigers (didn't manage that...) and enjoy the beautiful countryside of India, as a stark contrast to its hectic cities. The resort is unkempt in some respects, a little rough around the edges, but generally a pleasant place to pass a... More

Although we took a train from Nizamuddin Railway Station and got down at Umaria but I would advise if you are travelling by train it is advised to go to Jabbalpur first and take a cab, as while returning if you don't get CG Smprk Kranti (Monday Tuesday and Saturday only) then you get the worst train in the world...
