It was gr8 staying at the retreat... This hotel is just at the start of Mount Abu (near the Check Post) and is surrounded with lush green landscaped garden. However, we did find the hotel is a bit overpriced as compared to the ambience of the rooms and the facilities available. (we visited in June 2010) The natural surroundings, the... More

At first go, I will rate it as a disappointing property for the amount of money charged for room only basis without breakfast (Somewhere around 3500 per night). If we compare the room and the property with the price we are bound to be disappointed. This is a small cozy 12 room property. BUT BE REST ASSURED ITS WITHOUT RESTAURANT... More

We stayed for 1 night on the recommendation of a localite, but sadly it cannot be called a retreat or resort by any standard. It is like a guest house with decent rooms but no facilities at all. There is no restaurant, the level of cleanliness is not upto the mark. Not worth the rate charged. The only good thing... More

No intercom in the room. Rooms were quite shabby but garden was cozy and comfy. B/f items were limited but good taste - Aloo Paratha and masala egg omlette. Staff was co-operative. Rates did not justify the quality. Rs. 3,200/- per night. This kind of hotel should not charge more than Rs. 2,000/- even during peak season.

Pros : A nice little garden Cons : No restaurant in this hotel. Other restaurants are a bit far. When we reached, there, it was late afternoon and we were hungry. So we ordered lunch. They made us a meal which tasted awful. They charge extra for a child, but provide only a mattress, not a cot Hot water is... More

"hot water " for showers is only available between 0800 and 0900 says the large notice which greets you in reception. However , watching the lad feeding tiny twigs onto a smoky fire lit beneath a metal drum at the far end of of an extremely long building with a snaggle of external pipes for plumbing I doubted that there...
