I stay at the Joiners when travelling to Kent for work. I always feel welcome! Its in a perfect location for enjoying West Malling's restaurants and boutiquey shops. The rooms are gorgeous and very welcoming and the breakfast is perfect, definitely recommend it!! Everything you could want - you are very looked after! The staff make your stay as well... More

Perfect little hotel for a quick stop. Good value. My room had character rather than loads of space but what do you need when you are just stopping for the one night. Do note that rooms are over a great pub which has its obvious benefits and disadvantages. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would happily recommend to anybody needing... More

Delightful boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff and imaginatively designed rooms and bathrooms, but would have appreciated real coffee (not Nescafé instant pods) and usable wifi in room (the staff could do nothing about the wifi, which had recently been replaced, but local shops had stronger signals). Central location ideal for enjoying West Malling, but choose room away from... More

After seeing a couple a few under par reviews i was somewhat sceptical. Within about 5 minutes my fears were allayed. Fantastic staff, friendly atmosphere and simply stunning rooms. After having a couple of beers with the landlord and some locals I felt more than welcome. Cracking breakfast the following morning set me up for the day ahead. Would definitely... More

My fiancé booked for us to stay at this hotel again as we have stayed before while visiting friends and really loved it. We stayed in the evangeline room which was beautiful and had a roll top bath. The bar staff and owners were really friendly and booked a meal at the swan for us. We will definitely be returning... More

I cannot praise the hosts of this establishment enough. They we very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was nice but we did come across in our opinion a few flaws. We had a beautiful bath in our room, but we were a little disappointed that no bath bubbles were provided, we think it would have been a... More

Thank you for your review but was disappointed it was quite not what you expected. 1. Our white company complimentary products do not include bubble bath but its maybe worth considering adding it in the future. 2. I'm sorry to hear you found the bed uncomfortable but as you rightly say its individual personal preference and other reviews say they... More

On arrival we was greated very pleasantly, we was shown to our room (Amelia). we was pleasantly surprised how nice the bedroom was presented. Unfortunately the bathroom is designed badly, there is a walk in shower which you step up into, unfortunately your unable to have a lengthly shower as the water runs fron the shower down the step on... Tucked away above a pub, don't let first sight fool you... The rooms are amazing! 4 poster bed (in certain rooms) roll-top in room baths, walk-in shower and elegance all round. The price tag is well worth it for impressing your significant other. Great location for all West Malling has to offer from its bar and restaurants. Pricey at £140-190... More

Over the past two years I've stayed in this and other local hotels several days a month, mostly while on business in the area, and whenever I needed to book a room The Joiners was my preference. I was always disappointed if they were fully booked and I had to book a room elsewhere. To my mind this small hotel... More

This is my second stay in this hotel this time in the room called 'Amelia' which I chose because that's my daughters name! This room is just as nice as the one I stayed in last time, is spacious and well appointed, and very clean. This is a lovely little boutique hotel, albeit it's a pub with some rooms above... More
