Good room for us as a family of 4. We have a 7&9 year old. 2 single Beds in one room and a full in the other. Semi private porch. Our unit was close to a dock and swing set as well as horseshoe game. The amenities are endless: indoor pool, outdoor pool and hot tub, playground, badminton, pool table... More

We have been coming here for the past several years, sometimes with other families and sometimes just our family. The place is great for kids, with lots to do from morning till night. Tennis, shuffleboard, kids programs, fishing derbies etc...The shows they have are great and the waterfront provides lots of activities. The accomodations are ok, as long as you... More

We came here in the heat of the summer because we wanted to be near a lake. I expected for the price to find a pretty nice resort. We walked into a dingy room with a carpet that looked a century old and the smell of mildew. Service was "meh" and many of the staff seemed to be young and... More

Hello dervishgirl_13, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our resort. We are happy that you enjoyed your time at the beach, relaxing on a Muskoka chair and having a pontoon boat cruise. We apologize that you found our meals not to your liking. Generally, our dining experience is well received. Our return guests would certainly... More

My husband and I stayed here four nights the week of June 29th. We added the breakfast which was overpriced for what you got. It's served between 8 and 10am but if you go around 9 all the fresh fruit is gone and not replenished. Our room was very dated and very dusty. There was mildew in the bathroom. The resort... More

Hello Stacey G, Thank you for visiting our resort this past June and reviewing us on TripAdvisor. We definitely have many repeat clientele at the resort. Many of them met other couples and families their first time at the resort, became friends then continued a tradition of sharing their vacation at the resort and their new friends. We would love... We had Cabin 30 on the lake. It was nice view. very relaxing . at the same time it was crowded so we did not have much privacy with open window's. We got a package for one night with dinner and breakfast. theere was no wait staff there and they had our name on th etable. We sat down but... More

Hello lifeiswow, Thank you very much for visiting our resort and sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. Chicadee (#30) cottage is a quaint lakeside cottage. I am glad you found it relaxing with a great view. Sorry you had some troubles with the bathroom. I made a note of this for our staff once I read your review earlier in July.... More

Stayed in this adorable area to set up an event for a client now a friend of mine. Lovely the cottagey feel of the resort and the lakeside ceremony was nice. A great spot for a romantic up north wedding. Room was average and comfortable. Not a "luxury" resort but a pleasant stay.

Hi SAST82, We are happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere and cottage feel of our resort. We have had many beautiful weekend weddings at the resort and find that the wedding party and guests really value spending time together for more than just a ceremony and reception. Thank you for sharing your resort experience on TripAdvisor and we hope to... More

We took the grandparents and the kids here for two nights at the end of June. We had two rooms, one in the Balsam building, the other on the Walton. This resort has tons of activities for the children. There is an impressive array of activities from watercraft to tennis, basketball and biking. In case it rains, the games room... More

We spent two nights in the resort. It is a nice escape for the weekends in the summer, a lot of activities are free, such as canoeing, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, fishing, even sand toys. The resort is a bit old with 100 years, some buildings have been renovated, the others look older but quieter. i don't like that it is... More

I stayed at the Wildwood for two nights last September while attending an anniversary celebration on-site. To be fair, the resort seems to be more focused on catering to families during the summer months, which is a different type of stay than what I experienced. Details: • Room #212 Sparrowview – deliberately chose this building as all of the rooms... More
