Spent a day at Coconut Creek, Kumarakom with my family in the month of April during my tour of Kerala ... Its a beautiful cottage set in a typical village surrounding .....The room was clean and tidy ... though a bit small. Coconut creek kumarakom is an excellent place to stay...hosts are very warm and friendly and they took real good care of us ...location is great and so is the food.....True authentic feeling of Kerala ...much better than Allepy which is very commercial town...Kumarakom is indeed quiet and peaceful place ...Owners make you feel at home with their warmth and hospitality...

We have stayed few nights in this amazing colonial house. The hosts very very helpful and friendly, and have organized for us boat trip, sightseeing etc.The homemade meals were very delicious. True authentic feeling of India, after spending week in Kovalam and Varkala, which are more touristy.

“A bit cramped with bad A/C and WiFi”

The setting is perfect for a backwater retreat. It looks like the owner built a new wing that has air conditioned rooms rooms that are small and cramped. This would have been OK if the A/C worked.
