I traveled for my honeymoon during November '09. The service of the staff is excellent. The property is well maintained and had a pleasant stay. We spent 2 nights there and enjoyed every minute. more

We only spent one night at the Taj but it was the most memorable of our 3 week trip around India. The hotel, its surroundings, the food and the staff are incredible. We were treated like royalty & couldnt have asked for better service or a better experience. more

We were staying at the Radisson nearby(really bad experience after just half a day there) and decided to get out of there and head to the Taj instead. To our very pleasant surprise we were greeted by Vincent Ramos whom we had first met at Taj Exotica in Goa the previous year. Vincent is arguably the finest and nicest manager... more

Hi Great to receive your feedback. Iam sure we will cross our paths again. You will experience even more essence of the Taj next time you visit us,as we strongly believe that the hotels are made of people and not the four walls. Cheers Vincent

I'll keep the review short, This is a nice property and we enjoyed our stay. However I did not see value for the price that we paid for the rooms here (way above $ 250). We stayed in the heritage wing where te rooms were nice and spacious but the bathrooms dated and in disrepair. Spa facilities were poor for... more

Taj Garden Retreat Kumarakom is a beatyful hotel in colonial style in a natural surrounding. It has not many rooms and you never have the feeling to be very much confronted with the other guests. The stuff is perfect: very helpful, friendly (like generally all the Kerala people) and professional. Excellent service. The food is delicious and fresh. The hotel... more
