I have been to this resort 2 times, both times we spent only day and came to Cochin back at Night. One word to describe the property is Beautiful; its amazing to note that how the management of KLR has used local architecture and handicrafts to maintain this lovely property. Its a nice blend of Modern and Ethnic. All rooms... more

I stayed at this resort in August 2006 with my wife & daughter, i can surely say it was one of our most memorable holiday ever.... The resort, the garden view cottages, the infinity pool looking on to the backwaters, the outdoor bath everything had a surreal feel in the rains. The overall upkeep of the hotel, housekeeping & food... more

One of the most beautiful and scenic drives from Cochin to Kumarkom, although a little long came to an end when I finally reached the gates of heaven. An impressive entrance and traditional greeting with of course coconut water made me forget my long drive. Acres of beautiful trees and authentic architecture was all the eyes could see. I stayed... more

We spent 3 nights here and had an absolutely amazing time. Great Spa. Very friendly staff and good food (although during 3days it became quite repetitious). We pointed this out to the restaurant manager and he made sure that the next meal was different. That was nice. Their Villa with private pool is really nice. Definitely recommended for honeymooners. They... more

Kukarakom Lake Resort was one of the hotels we stayed in on our trip in India. It was the most disappointing one - considering the expense. The staff was polite - however quite off hand. We could book boat trips or massages which were heavily overpriced (compared to the other 5star hotels we stayed in on our trip). The seafood... more

This is among the best getaway locations, not just in India, but around the world. I only saw three colours, the green leaves, the brown bark and the blue lakes! The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool that seems to merge with the lake and though it is not a place to do swimming laps, it is indeed a place... more

This was to be a holiday to unwind and spend time together as a family. We've just returned from our stay at the resort and we have such warm and wonderful memories of our stay there. The entire experience was a good one, starting from making the reservation. There was the effort that they had made to 'tailor make' our... more
