I stayed at Coconut Lagoon in 2010 with my husband. My husband died in 2013, I asked for the same room in 2014. Staff all very nice. Didn't get same room but the message seemed to filter down to all staff and they all treated me beautifully. My bungalow looked out onto the river, the staff were all so keen... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it really is a beautiful place. You arrive on a small boat and are treated to a glimpse of the amazing backwaters, then greeted with a traditional musician and fresh coconut water to drink. Our villa was very clean and spacious with a lovely area to sit out on in an evening (with... More

We stayed for three nights in end of June. We were given a beautiful traditional kerala style welcome and coconut water to drink. We booked the Heritage Mansion. The entire décor is traditional kerala décor with lots of wood being used.Well maintained, neat rooms with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are spacious & open to sky, yet private. The fixtures were of very... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the CL. It was a memorable time. Loved visiting the Dosa restaurant for lunches with the breeze from the lake and a nice cold beer in hand. The staff was very accommodating and brought the food from another restaurant there for the kids. For dinner they even cooked some items of the menu. Activities... More

Another deservedly excellent review for this place. We stayed in one of the pool villas and we had a view of the sunrise over the paddy field at the back of the property, and sunset over the lagoon! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We took a 3 hour cruise into the backwaters (the ones that the larger boats... More

The moment you park your car, the security guides you to the small jetty which is ear marked for coconut lagoon. Here comes in the small ketuvalam boat. Passes thru the house lined and see how life goes on along both sides of the canal. You enter the mouth of the Vembanad Lake and just there is the entrance of... More

I travelled to Kumarakom during a family vacation last summer and I am writing this review from my notes. Coconut Lagoon is a CGH Earth Property which is on an island and can be accessed only by boat (the hotel arranges transfers). We had taken an overnight houseboat cruise and got off at the landing and walked to the reception... More
