The Coconut Lagoon is a wonderful resort in a lake. The harmony between man made and nature is perfect! Rooms are Bangalo style, with traditional Indian furniture! The bathroom is outdoors ... Which was a surprise for me, but I kind liked it. The hotel offers loads of activities free of charge: bird watch, sunset cruiser in the lake, yoga... More

We were only able to stay here one night after a house boat trip in Kerala. This is a truly beautiful hotel with lovely bungalows for the guests. We were met by the boatman and travelled along a pretty stretch of water before turning into the little canal entrance to Coconut Lagoon. There we were met by a flautist and... More

Went on the Houseboat from the Coconut Lagoon. It was an amazing experience. Clean and safe and the staff cooked some awesome food. The staff was also very courteous and knowledgable too. Experience worth the money. Thanks Guys!!

Three and a half-stars from me, really. We went during monsoon and low season, which meant it was pretty quiet (apart from one tour group that fortunately left the day after we arrived). It's a clever concept, and all-in-one sustainable resort, with its own biomass plant, fish nurseries (courtesy of the Keralan government), Aryuvedic centre, water recycling...what I found a... More

We only stayed for one night but we loved the tranquillity of the place and the way the design and details of the small huts. Free WiFi is available as well as a water cooker and a safe deposit box. Dinner buffet was excellent also. Don't miss out on the ayurvedic spa!

We have stayed two families in three heritage bungalows for three days last August. The hotel has no road access so you have to take a ferry to get to and from it. This at first seemed a problem but the accuracy of the ships and the beauty of the journey to the hotel do not be any problem. The... More

If you are looking for 5 star accommodation then this is the place to be. I had an option of choosing between Taj/Kumarakoam lake resort/Coconut lagoon. I narrowed down on this property because of their pricing and I could also stay one night in their house boat (Spice coast cruise, this gets listed under cochin and not kumarakoam.) We were... More

This resort is one of the best place to stay and enjoy the nature. It gives a real feeling of Indian heritage and culture along with grease ayurveda therapy. The over all services of the hotel is very pleasant and I can always recommend this place to all of my contacts.
